Being from Toronto I was craving Pho. Decided to get take out. The broth was delish and very flavorful. The soup is an enormous size. I appreciate that they put the broth in its own container that has a very good lid. No spillage. Service was prompt. Also ordered the dumpling and spring rolls with peanut sauce. Everything is heavenly. A must in chilly Florida weather. The restaurant inside is exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. Try this place out.

This place definitely deserves a 5-star review for the quality of its food and its authenticity. I can agree with some: maybe it’s not the best looking… or the one with the nicest servers… but have you tasted its food??? The Rare Beef Pho is simply delicious. The Chicken Curry… well, amazing! Even the appetizers… the pan-fried dumplings are great! I can’t wait to go back there and try new things… it was a very good experience for me and the delicious food definitely overcomes any other issues.

Like many dishes, what is deemed to be great pho is very specific to the person who is enjoying it. The majority of my experience with pho has been around Atlanta's predominantly Asian area (aka Buford Hwy). Having said that, I found this one to be comparable. While I felt the broth was a bit saltier than I prefer, this place provided more meat than some other places around Atlanta. I've also noticed a slightly different consistency to the noodles at the Vietnamese places around Sarasota & that is probably due to differences in suppliers. I've eaten at two different places around here and both of the noodles were a little clumpy in spots. 4 stars for a great first visit; 5th star after a 2nd visit & having tried different menu options. The pho came out within 5 min after ordering; the servers were very nice & attentive.

I’m a pho lover but there is no Vietnamese near my home, so I try to find it whenever I’m traveling. I’ve probably tried pho in 15-20 places across the US. Pho Cali is the best pho I’ve tried.
We also ate lemongrass beef, shrimp with vegetables, and coconut lemongrass tofu. All were amazing.

Pho Cali has the best Pho in town! My wife and I have tried most of the Pho places in Sarasota and although these other places are still good, none of them quite measure up to this place. Their broth has a little extra flavor and their rare steak is superior.

I've tried pho all over. This used to be my favorite pho spot in Florida and top 3 in the country. There was a reason why they won so many awards in the past. After switching owners, it's been on the saltier side and taste less special.
Still recommend. Their lower rating is based on the previous owner's attitude, but their food has always been excellent and still mostly is.

The best Vietnamese food in Manatee/Sarasota county! Great service, too. Our waitress spent some time talking to our son about the different meals and seem to appreciate his omnivor adventurous palate. My husband, daughter, and I are vegetarian and love their vegetarian and vegan options. We have been here many times and will always come back. Something for everyone!

So this is clearly not authentic pho . Mine came out to almost 35$ !!! For one two it tasted like miso broth. My meat was Frozen solid not just thawed. All set will not be trying again. Do not recommend at all
