Excellent in every way. Very welcoming upon arrival, authentic and elegant atmosphere, attentive service and delicious food .

Veal piccata and eggplant parmigiana were delicious, served by friendly and professional Johanna. Venue is special with beautiful decor, lights and romantic Italian music. Pietro, chef/owner, extends a warm welcome to each of his guests.

We have been to Pietro's a number of times, both at their old location and at the current location. The food has been consistently excellent. The current location is nice but the table was somewhat small and the area we were siting in was a little "tight." That being said, the space issues did not detract much from their outstanding lobster ravioli, which my wife and I both ordered. The sauce is incredible. We also had a bottle of their private label Pinot Grigio, which was very good and more reasonably priced as compared to bottles of wine at other restaurants. The service at all times was outstanding. We will be back whenever we visit Siesta Key.

We thoroughly enjoyed our selections, along with the attentive service and as warm a welcoming atmosphere as we have encountered dining. A gem.

This is a hidden gem that should not be missed. We always enjoy our evening there and the food is delicious.

Gracious and extremely welcoming staff, great value quality wines, and an authentic hearty flavorful Italian menu. We've dinned here a number of times in recent years and each meal has been outstanding- never disappointed. In addition to this, Chef Pietro (Peter) along with his wife could not possibly be more genuine and engaged in offering their patrons the best possible culinary experience. Highly recommended!!

Prices on their web site about 20% lower than in the restaurant- both food & wine. Wine I wanted they didn't carry any more - still on wine list , though. My dinner was missing both eggplant and prosciutto. They replaced it - still no eggplant that I could find & no prosciutto, again. Staff was nice, though that doesn't really help. WILL NOT RETURN

Pietro, his charming staff, and the intimate venue are delightful. The food is NOT. The entrees were generally heavy; the lasagna was forgettable. The crème brûlée was not edible. We were mightily disappointed after relishing his two previous sarasota restaurants.

Everything was wonderful!! The food was amazing! My favorite was the ravioli stuffed with lobster in a vodka pink sauce! Out of this world.

Peter and Susan are very good hosts. The food is awesome and the service (Wendy) is exceptional. Love the atmosphere and the wine pairing. Highly Recommend.

Pietro's is as good as you will find anywhere. The coolest ambience. The freshest food. The best cook. Extensive and unique wine selections especially the “home grown” Montelpuciano available. The people are fantastic and friendly. Always a first rate experience and a fantastic night out!

We always come to Pietros when in Sarasota! It is the best Italian food! The owners greet you personally and treat everyone like family! The staff are wonderful too.

My husband and I came here for date night, unknowingly on the last night of service before they close for a month's (reopen in October) we were shocked by the small cozy , family, warm environment. We order the octopus as an app and veal parmigiana both were mouth watering tender and flavors exploded ♥︎ we cannot wait to come back. Suzanne our host was so attentive, our server was knowledgeable and so kind. Compliments to the chef Peter! We cannot wait to revisit asap!!

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and it was amazing. The staff was awesome and very attentive. It was our 46th anniversary and they couldn't have made it more enjoyable. We walked into a table filled with rose pedals. We were checked on regularly for satisfaction by the staff and the owner. Food was excellent. This will be an experience we will never forget. So sad to hear that they close for 3 months for vacation but we will be back in October when they reopen.
