Take it from an Italian girl Pizza Chef on Fruitville is hands down the best Pizza in Sarasota. Running neck and neck with Rico's on Bay Street. However, Pizza Chef bakes all his own crust and breads fresh from scratch, and makes all of his own homemade sause! The half frozen chocolate laced tiramisu is also hands down the best dessert ever! And I'm a cheesecake lover, so for me to say this about tiramisu means it's literally amazing lol. !!!
To me this is the best pizza place in Sarasota! The pizza taste amazing, flat, crispy and hot with perfect amount of cheese and flavor on point! Not grease or that fake taste that you have from other places!!! You will love it!!!
We have lived in the area for 6 years. We frequent this Plaza often but had not ventured past DA Ruma in our travels.
I saw the place as I was driving by and decided to give them a try. Super accommodating, and friendly owners. They take orders over the phone and have not had a bad experience yet. Try the Hot Italian!!
