This is my go to place for breakfast or lunch. The staff have become like family members and truly are the heart of this restaurant. The food is wonderful and should there be any issue at all, It is gladly corrected. I am there at least once a week and enjoy it each and every time. Anytime I bring my grandchildren with me, they're treated like the royalty, I believe them to be! And do yourself a favor, go on a Friday and have a bowl of their clam chowder. It's absolutely sinful. I cannot say enough about this wonderful, warm, friendly diner.

Called in a takeout order with only two breakfast items...a bagel sandwich and a breakfast burrito. The burrito was delicious, but the side of salsa was tiny in comparison...not even enough for half the burrito. The bagel sandwich was wrong...requested ham, bacon and cheese and specifically no egg...got bacon, egg and cheese...no ham. I should have checked, but figured there's no way a longstanding local diner will get that little order wrong. It was very busy and tables are crammed together, so it was loud. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Went in at lunch and ordered chicken fried steak to go. After coming back and opening the containers realized I made a mistake.. The food tasted like prison food I have never tasted anything worse. You could tell it was prepared with no care and no pride in the work. To make it worse every time I burped next few hours I reminded me of the horrible experience. Never going back....service and atmosphere 4 stars each people seemed nice and I ordered food to go so really didnt experience the atmosphere too much...

Great neighborhood restaurants filled with regulars. The waitresses knew most of all the customers by name which always shows you a loyal following due to great food. The menu is huge considering they're open for breakfast and lunch only. Their lunch entree sounded wonderful but we were there for breakfast. I got the Country Benedict which was very good and huge. I definitely needed a takeout box when I was finished. Looking forward to our next trip.

We had a wonderful experience today at Popi’s and a great server, Amy. 5 of us ladies on our way to the airport stopped for breakfast. My 17 year old granddaughter smashed her finger moving a chair. Amy rushed to get her ice and water. Her finger was actually hurting so bad it made her sick. We walked outside and she was able to settle down and started feeling better. When we returned Amy served us our delicious food. I personally recommend the crab cakes Benedict-very tasty!!!

We sat waiting for more than half an hour after ordering drinks, and the server refused to serve us again. After bringing it to the staffs attention, we did not get even an apology and had to leave. I suffer from TBI symptoms and did not find this experience pleasant

We like this place for breakfast/lunch. Usually when we are here, there isn't a huge crowd. Evidently Fathers Day is a big thing and everyone chose to celebrate at Popi's.....food is good, service is good.
