I'm new to the area but I love trying coffee places out. This spot has won my heart. The staff is always friendly, especially the queen who commented on sharing the same nail color as me, anyway the coffee always SLAPS mhmmmm. It's so good! I get the sweet cream cold brew and you actually can't go wrong. Love this place.

I am not exaggerating when I say that I’ve had the best latte and breakfast sandwich of my life here. It tastes like every ingredient was home grown and made, every bite was so full of flavor. I ordered the siesta sand foam latte and loved every sip. Easily the best cafe in Sarasota hands down. I’m telling everyone I know about this place!

i know this may sound dramatic but i’m actually really disappointed that i feel like i have to leave this review. i absolutely love the coffee and food here. i worked at starbucks for close to ten years and when i left the company two years ago i wanted to make a point to support local shops instead of corporate. i found postal right off the bat. for a few months i’d come here once even twice a week. the service was always mid quality but the food and drinks are so good it made it worth it. it feels like every time i step in, the service just gets worse and worse. i think over my two years of frequenting this place, i’ve met two or MAYBE three baristas who are even mildly friendly. to the point where i thought maybe they just didn’t like me at this establishment for some reason or another. i’m always polite and tip well so i wasn’t sure what i had done to offend the baristas here. but now upon reading other 1-2 star reviews i see this doesn’t just happen to me and that lots of people are complaining about the employees. it’s to the point where i walk into the building in a good mood and leave in a bad one. i will probably stop coming here due to the fact that good service seems so hard to come by. to the manager or owner, i reccomend you evaluate what’s missing in your team of employees—whether their work environment needs to change, they need extra customer service training, or if you just need to hire new workers altogether. y’all have a few very lovely people working here but the majority of them seem completely miserable at their job and treat customers like they wish we would just go away.

Stopped by Postal 98 Cafe and really enjoyed it! The place has a chill, welcoming vibe and the staff were nice and friendly. We had some coffee and a couple pastries, everything tasted fresh and hit the spot. They have great drink selections. It’s a great little spot to relax or catch up with a friend. Definitely a place we’ll come back to when we’re in the area again.
