Great stop for lunch!
You can't beat the quality of food, coffee, pastry, and breads at Rendez-vous as well as its fantastic French ambiance. Although only open until 3:00 pm every day but Monday, if you are looking for quality baguette, sourdough, croissant, omelettes, coffee, or pastry such as Paris-Brest, Napoléon, or made-to-order birthday cakes, you must visit Rendez-vous on Clark Avenue and Honoré with its charming staff including their fantastic chefs!
This place is a nice relaxing French cafe. I enjoyed my solo breakfast outing. My first time visiting and the food was delicious. I ordered a matcha latte with a duck sandwich which was my very first time having duck so not sure what it was supposed to taste like but it was good. And the chocolate almonds croissant was so flaky and just well done. Totally recommend.
We got our hands on all three types of bread they had, plus a cookie, and both a chocolate croissant and an almond chocolate croissant. Everything was absolutely delicious!
Great, crispy croissants!
Great food. Casual atmosphere. Friendly service.
WOW! Probably some of the best pastries I have ever had. Everything we tried was wonderful. The croissants are so flaky and almost melt in your mouth. Service was so-so but won’t stop us from returning as the food is worth it.

I stopped by on Dec.20, (apparently customer appreciation day) and after paying 9$ for a simple cup of coffee and an almond croissant...the server went out of the store to fill me a cup of coffee from a coffee carafe that was outside on the table set for customers for free (as it was set for customer appreciation day) REALLY?! Needless o say I am not going back
Everything tasted like it did when I went to Paris! The prices are the lowest I've seen compared to other French bakeries. The staff were so kind and I will be coming here more often!
