I've said it all, everything was perfect for a wonderful dinner and experience. My wife's birthday was remembered by the staff. The really big thing was I got a parking space right outside the front door!
Busy Tuesday night with what appeared to be a full house. Reservation for 6 at 6:30, seated promptly. Server friendly. Meals prepared to order and served together. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal, though no one actually commented on their food. Multiple courses ordered and served without water glasses ever refilled, though they dutifully poured the wine!
Lived up to its billing It is expensive Food is high quality A special experience compared to most restaurants
R&T is a wonderful restaurant owned and run by a true chef/host. His restaurant has a wonderful staff with outstanding customer service. R&T is somewhat of a hidden gem but well worth the time to get there. Urban was our waiter and is always attentive to his patrons.
For the past five years we have looked forward to visiting Rosemary and Thyme during our January visit to Sarasota. Each dinner was of high quality a most enjoyable evening. This visit however brought a great disappointment. Our seating outdoors in a tent was like we were moved to the storage area. We would have preferred to sit indoors, but were told it may be a ninety-minute wait. We selected from the prix fix menu. Our meals were both highly seasoned with garlic, almost to the point of being inedible. Overall , our evening was not an enjoyable evening.
This was one of the most enjoyable dinners we've had in a long time. Of course, the food was delicious but the service was superb. Andrew made us feel like we were back in a cafe in Paris, enjoying each others company with no rush to usher us out the door. It was a lovely evening and we are sure to return.
A two course dinner menu for $40 offered good choices. The regular menu has several options. Service was efficient and the servers were very pleasant.
We had a reservation and were seated upon arrival. The service was as usual excellent. Andrew was so helpful with our ordering and checked on us frequently. Love the ambience and the food. Very lovely evening!
My husband and I ate there for first time last night. For the cost of the food, we were expecting an amazing dinner but unfortunately it was subpar! $52 for 4 scallops that were ok at best. The salmon was on point though! The risotto was just ok but the veggies were so awful I couldn’t eat them. Latke was unimpressive, looked and tasted like a frozen hash brown. The wine was good and service was ok. Table & chairs outside were wobbly. This place was recommended by a friend so we’re sad it didn’t hit the mark especially for the cost. We won’t be going back.

Good food, but they add a forced gratuity twice per check. I always tip but adding a percentage of the check, twice, then asking for more is a little crazy

The food was good but definitely over priced.

My family went for Thanksgiving and was disappointed. No one liked their food. The atmosphere in the courtyard is lovely and the service was great. For the price, the meals were underwhelming.

Outstanding local restaurant great food great atmosphere
We love it here. The food is ALWAYS excellent- prepared how you request and well seasoned. Beautiful to look at as well. We sat in the courtyard on a balmy evening. There was lovely live music, but not too loud. We had the prix fixe menu which is an unbelievable value- regular portions and fabulous food. The service is impeccable. We are always delighted with everything. We go often and highly recommend.
Ambience food and service were excellent. Restaurant was full and there is a beautiful courtyard for dining as well. In or outdoor would be lovely.
