Drove 20 minutes out of the way to eat here. Said they were open online and on they're website. I show up and it's closed. No sign on the door or anything. That is just lazy and rude. The food is lazy too. Anyone can grill an impossible burger and put a bunch of veganaise on it. Nothing special here. Clearly not cut out to be restaurant owners. I know it's hard, but don't get into it if you don't know what you're doing. Are you a deli, are you a restaurant, why did you open a bunch of locations if you clearly can't handle what you have.

This was the best beyond burger I have ever had! And the macaroni and cheese was definitely addictive. I wish I could have ate there again but I am just vacationing in the area. The customer service was excellent and girl working up front was very friendly. I would highly recommend this vegan restaurant to non vegans alike!

Firstly, I LOVE that they’ve brought another vegan option to Sarasota! I’ve gone to this place plenty of times. I love the pre-made pasta salads and Mac and cheese. The food is definitely “vegan junk food”, as most of it is VERY processed, and I wished they had more less-processed options. It oftentimes would make me feeling a little nauseous and sluggish after eating. But overall, pretty tasty!

I honestly dont know how anyone could rate this place lower than 5 stars. Phenomenal service and the food is so good i might just have to bring my non vegan friends food from here to convince them that vegan food can be sooo good and not just rabbit food like everyone assumes. Because the food is made to order and fresh do show some grace by being patient!

I usually take photos of food reviews, however I ate my Philly cheese steak with impossible meat so quickly. ?This cozy deli, is a hidden vegan gem. Everything I had tasted was delicious and I'm not vegan. These people know how to keep you coming back. Definitely, check out Sarasota Vegan Deli.

The Vegan deli in Brandon (same owner) is so good so I was excited to try the location near me and maaaan, what a disappointment. When we drove up, it looked closed. The open sign was turned off and no one was inside. Then we noticed two employees hanging out at the table in the back with a friend, they came in and turned on the sign when they saw us. We ordered two sandwiches and it took them 20 minutes to make. I think they were high. They also were telling us about stuff they ran out of as they were making them, like "oh we don't have bacon". One employee put her hair up in a bun and didn't wash her hands after then proceeded to make our sandwiches. I asked for banana peppers (of course they forgot). My husband sandwich was supposed to be pressed with Cuban bread but they just made it as a sub and when they put cucumbers on it, they were old. I saw the employee throw the rest away after she put it on his sandwich. Yuck. I hope they get it together, I will be happy to come back and try again to give a better review but for now I will be making my vegan sandwiches at home.

Unassuming, out of the way little vegan joint in Sarasota but a gem indeed. I had the Philly Cheesesteak, and took some other things home to eat, enjoyed them all. Lots of stuff to heat up yourself later, a little store with vegan staples and it's more of a sandwich style restaurant ~ not fine dining. Again, it's simple but tasty, tasty, tasty!

I am so love the vegan food here! I order the classic whack burger and my BF ordered the Italiano and we both loved it! The flavors blended so well and everything was cooked great. Will definitely be our spot on our trips to Sarasota!

Very nice place with really good vegan food. I had the philly and it was so good, I want to eat one everyday. Met a really cool girl named Sophie working there, and she made my sandwich soooo good, I was so impressed. Will definitely be coming back soon for another sandwich made by her! :)

The place looks a bit shabby, but the Cubano sandwich was really good. The service was painfully slow. Took us 45 minutes to order and get 4 sandwiches and 1 pre-made Mac and cheese (that was tasteless). One poor guy working by himself doing all the work. Flaws aside, I like the idea of what they are doing, and it’s worth trying the Cubano!

This place is wonderful! A small, little unassuming place - but the food is awesome. I was there a few days ago on a trip, and I wanted to try the South Florida classic "Cubano." The friendly manager Trey made one for me, and wow, it was so good! He made and steamed it carefully; it was big, so I asked for it to be cut in thirds - and I brought it to my omni friends' house for our lunch. Everyone loved it! I also got a McBluffin....exactly like an Egg McMuffin, only plant-based. I devoured it. :) I only wish I could have tried more of the other amazing-sounding things on the menu ---next time for sure!

Food was delicious!! The venue looks like a struggling first couple weeks deli. Not a great atmosphere and limited items but what we had were well made, ample portions, and delicious. The order and takeout went smoothly and our wraps were prepared and ready much earlier than expected. Nice friendly service too!

This place is incredible, unique flavors and great cooking. The new chef working there is an awesome dude and makes great food. I go here a couple times a week and the food is always consistent and affordable!
