I've been going to Selva for a number of years. Last night my dinner was Luke warm at best and I ordered the branzini , the portion size was the smallest piece of fish that I've ever seen , child potion size at market price no less...let's call it a micro portion that was good but certainly not worth the price

I took myself for my birthday today. I ordered everything on the menu that I ever wanted to order because I didn't have to worry about price since I was paying. My waiter was sublime. Talked me through all the appetizers. I got all the ceviche dishes. Tried a vegetarian one. It was all so good! I loved the ceviche mixto most but all of it was so fabulous. I love it there. I am so going back! 10 stars

This is a definitely one of the best restaurants in Sarasota. We never miss an opportunity to eat at Selva whenever we attend the Sarasota Opera. Within walking distance whether before or after a performance. Great service, beautiful restaurant; but most important, delicious and original dishes!!

Delightfully presented cocktails and food. Everything was perfect the tuna, the filet and the eggroll appetizer. Delicious! Our favorite restaurant downtown.

Second time at Selva. Started with the Triologia ceviche. All three were so good. For my main course, I had the Seafood Paella Risotto and it was delicious! Highly recommend this dish. My husband had the Lomo Saltdo, also very good. Service was great.
