Very nice food Extremely nice waitress, Haeun…and chef, her mother. Dad was also the chef, busy cooking.

I lived in South Korea for a year. This is the most authentic I’ve ever had in the states. The family is so friendly and makes being there very enjoyable. Everything is made to order. And the accommodate gluten free if you call a day in advance

It was my first time eating here tonight. I was introducing my friend to Korean cuisine and I have to say this sweet, welcoming restaurant didn’t disappoint. Our waitress was super sweet and service was excellent. I have always wanted to try Jjajangmyeom so we split it and it was everything I hoped it would be! So so good! The dolsot bibimbap was excellent too. I loved the banchan it was fresh and delicious. I would be tempted to gate keep this place but I want it to be around for a long time! Can’t wait to go back!

Hands down, Shilla has the best Korean food in Sarasota-Bradenton. Every dish is packed with flavor and made with love. This family owned and run restaurant is a little slice of Heaven. If you like spice, make sure to ask for full spice. If you can’t handle the heat, they will take care of that, too. If they are busy, think kind and be kind. There are three people total working in the restaurant. It takes time to make your delicious meal…and it is SO worth it! Grab some dumplings to start, sip some soju, and prepare for your taste buds to be delighted! Galbi is a must…every soup is delicious (try them all)…and don’t get me started on the tteokbokki. YUM!

Dietary restrictions: They will make everything gluten free. Just ask for options!

Kid-friendliness: My son doesn’t get to play hide and go seek with any other restaurant chefs and staff. He loves it there, and they are so kind and accommodating to children.

Wonderful family operation. The waitress takes the time to explain any dish that you don’t understand. I wish all restaurants were like this. I go there minimum of once a week.

I absolutely love Shilla. From the smiling face of the extremely adorable waitress to the incredible traditional Korean food, everything about Shilla is fantastic. I can't get enough of the ttoekbokki and the dolsot bibimbap. I've come here several times now, maybe about a dozen or so. I will for sure be coming back again many more times.

I can’t believe I have taken so long to write a review for Shilla Korean restaurant! This is hands down my favorite restaurant. The food is delicious and is made fresh to order; which is great as it allows you to customize your order. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Haeun and her mother are absolutely the sweetest! Come in and visit, and you will become a regular too!

Parking: Easy parking and plenty of it. Shilla is located in a plaza. Hassle free parking and delicious food!

Amazing food! We had an awesome server who we asked to choose a few options for my boyfriend and I to share and she obliged...the first time that we have ever asked someone to choose for us and they actually accepted with confidence. Their choices did not disappoint. We will be back again.
