Tried the jambalaya, it was 3/4 liquid and bland. We ordered 2 meals and it was 38$, we were expecting higher quality. They were also 20 minutes late to their destination where we were waiting.

We catered a Mardi Gras community event last weekend using Shiny Gumbo as our caterer. The folks at the event were very happy with the Gumbo & Jambalaya served. I found Leigh the owner to be very accommodating and helpful in planning our event. I would definitely recommend this local family business if you were looking for authentic New Orlean food.

The best gumbo I have ever had! The owners and staff were welcoming and very friendly. The food was amazing and the portion sizes are huge! My favorite dish was the biscuits and gravy! It was truly something special. I highly recommend if you enjoy great food with a little spice!
