We went with family while in Sarasota on vacation. The restaurant was not busy at all because the tourist season is starting to wind down which will last only about a month. Staff was friendly. The menu had some great choices. From fish to ribs to fried chicken. All were well prepared and not too salty. Everything came out hot. The specialty drinks were very good too with a good variety. A little pricier than some other restaurants on St. Armand’s circle, but not by much. I highly recommend this establishment for an excellent meal.

So we were just planning to have a drink but ended up staying for dinner and we are so happy we did. We had wonderful service from Ellie and it was due to her we actually ended up staying because she was such a delight and great service is important to us. We enjoyed delicious food, beautifully presented, great drinks and fabulous personable service. Perfect. Thank you And a huge shout out to Ellie from your first customers of the evening- from the Uk ☺️

AMAZING.The only way to describe food and service here.I consider myself pretty fussy but this was outstanding on every level. I had the best fish dish I’ve ever had anywhere in the world, grouper with sticky rice. Incredible flavours in the sauce. Our server Ashlyn deserves special mention for her kindness and her attention. Thank you to all the awesome staff we met and those we didn’t at Shore.

Chic. Coastal. Hip. Upscale. Modern. How do you describe Shore, one of the most popular and exciting new restaurants in Sarasota, Florida? All of the above. Located at 465 John Ringling Boulevard, in fashionable St. Armands Circle, next to the Shore store and the Foxy Lady, Shore is an oceanside diner with modern decor that serves seafood, burgers and salads to a mostly young and vibrant crowd. Take the stone stairs or the elevator to the second floor, open air dining room with a beautiful green wall and patio overlooking the street and a large back patio with retractable roof. Open from 11 to 10 Monday through Thursday, 11 to 11 Friday and Saturday and 10 to 10 on Sunday, Shore serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with free parking behind the restaurant. In busy St. Armands Circle, that's a welcome gift. For lunch, my wife and I started with ciabatta bread and spreads, yellow heirloom tomato soup and lobster, shrimp and crab cobb salad with chicken breast. For her entree, my wife chose a Black Grouper Sandwich, Creole grilled with coleslaw and truffle fries. It's a spinoff from Shore's dinner special, Almond Crusted Black Grouper with blue crag risotto and char-grilled asparagus. For my lunch treat, I opted for a Crispy Springer Mountain Farms chicken sandwich with tomato and provolone cheese, truffle fries and sweet vinegar coleslaw. Shore also has a location at 800 Broadway Street in nearby Longboat Key.

Michael was fantastic!! I always enjoy coming to Shore and enjoying the food, delicious drinks, and their amazing service. Michael is one of the best servers you could hope for. He knew the menu backwards and forwards and is so positive and attentive!! Thanks so much Shore for another great experience! Tonight was my friends surprise birthday dinner and it could not have been more perfect. I’m pregnant and Michael suggested a blood orange non alcoholic margarita and it was delicious!

My husband and I had a nice honeymoon dinner here! The waitress congratulated us and said that dessert was on the house. She provided outstanding service. The ambience of the restaurant is great as we sat in the covered outside area. The food was also delicious, but we felt that the portions were a little small. For example, my husband had the shrimp and scallops, and it only included three shrimp and two scallops. To be fair, the waitress told us the amount, but we thought they would at least be larger shrimp for that price. We do highly recommend the salmon and calamari though! Overall, this was a very nice meal and is likely on par price wise for the area.

We just had our 1 year wedding anniversary dinner at Shore and we had THE BEST TIME EVER!!! Michael and Justin (our waiters) went above and beyond to personally make sure we had a good experience. They were high energy and fun! True professionals without being “stuffy”. The food was outstanding. I had the salmon and my husband had the St. Louis ‘Jenga’ ribs and both dishes were soooooo delicious. Highly recommend eating here when you’re in town and request Michael or Justin to be your servers. A+++
