It was my birthday, and a friend of mine took me out here to celebrate. She recommended the calamari. The dish tasted great, but the ratio of seafood to the salad ingredients left more to be desired. For dessert, I had the choice of key lime pie or flourless chocolate cake. I chose the pie, and loved that it had coconut. Overall, come here for the ambiance and the drinks, don't necessarily come here to eat

location is everything with this restaurant. food less to be desired. ordered the stack and avocado over ripe, crab taste old and fishy. from the start hostesses were not friendly and welcoming. Try French restaurant next door or columbia. Food and staff always consistent in these locations. Pricey

I gave Shore 4 stars for not for the food but for the atmosphere. It's a sexy cool spot in heart of St. Armand's Circle. The staff was friendly. We went at 2pm thinking we'd missed the lunch crowd. The place was still packed. We only had to wait 15-20 minutes though. Drinks were great, had the Bee Keeper, Barrel Aged Cocktail and Espresso Martini. Started with the Crispy Bao Buns. I got the Tuna Tartare as my entree, hubs had the Faroe Island Salmon, you can see by his empty plate (forgot to take a before pic) that he enjoyed it. The tuna tartare was fresh and light. I feel there is "always something" good, bad or indifferent when dining out. My "always something" for Shore was the crispy bao buns. I know it says it in the name but I think one of the great thing about bao buns is the pillowy goodness and these crispy ones just missed the mark for me. All in all Shore is a great place to go grab a bite while shopping St. Armands Circle.

What a great spot! This restaurant is gorgeous, and the weather was pleasant enough for them to pull back the retractable roof, which really added to the ambiance. They had real mocktails, and the blood orange one was delicious. The calamari was a nice starter, and the Faroe salmon was amazing! Our server was Carlos, and he was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, and very friendly!! Thank you so much!!

My wife and I, along with friends celebrated my birthday. The food was amazing, but thanks to our server, Abigail, we will be back. She was attentive and her food recommendations were spot on. I highly recommend Abigail as a server, as well as the others who made my feel day special. Thank you!
