Jake's Ice Cream on Siesta Key

The ice is delicious! Me and my kids loved it ! Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving something sweet. A must-visit spot for ice cream lovers!

But for real… I have been visiting Siesta Key ice cream shops for 40 years. Love the classic vibes in the village, but this is the best tasting ice cream I ever had. Taste the Salty Turtle flavor and you’ll never look back!

The best strawberry ice cream I’ve ever had by far!

Probably the best strawberry ice cream we have ever tried. We also enjoyed the Kahlua krunch and salty turtle. We were greeted with a smile and offered plenty of time to sample as many flavors as we wanted.

Very accommodating for kids with allergies and Jake the owner is very nice.

Absolutely the BEST ice cream around. As a family we drive an hour nearly every week to eat Jake's ice cream...YES, it's that good! Incredibly kind owner and staff as well, this place is a must visit if in the Sarasota area (and beyond!) Once you've tasted Jake's ice cream it's hard to ever eat anything else, he's raising the standards for homemade ice cream with every flavor - although we all have our favorites we've never tried one we didn't like!! (My personal favorite is Salty Turtle)

My family comes to Seista Keys every other year. We went to Jake’s for the first time in 2022. It’s so good, I was tempted to try and bring some home with me. Can’t wait to return in 2026.

Decided to take my wife here for a treat after a day on the beach at access 12. Dillon greeted us right away and offered free samples. The place was nice and cool and had a public restroom. We settled on two different flavors, one of which was a multiple chocolate variety and the other had coconut and chocolate chips. All the flavors seemed of their own making, but were both excellent. The prices were a bit above what we are used to; however, since they make them themselves the prices seemed appropriate and were still worth the price. While there, I did not see where they had cold drinks available and would recommend, they offer that in the future, as I enjoy my ice cream with a soda. I highly recommend you stop by and check them out.

Very few places in the world that have ice cream like cape cod, this is one of those places. Cookies and cream 10/10
