Probably the best strawberry ice cream we have ever tried. We also enjoyed the Kahlua krunch and salty turtle. We were greeted with a smile and offered plenty of time to sample as many flavors as we wanted.
Absolutely the BEST ice cream around. As a family we drive an hour nearly every week to eat Jake's ice cream...YES, it's that good! Incredibly kind owner and staff as well, this place is a must visit if in the Sarasota area (and beyond!) Once you've tasted Jake's ice cream it's hard to ever eat anything else, he's raising the standards for homemade ice cream with every flavor - although we all have our favorites we've never tried one we didn't...
