Such a fun and uniquely local Sarasota experience! The tasting was enjoyable — the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the process. They walk you through how the rum is made, the aging barrels, and the different flavor profiles. My favorite was the toasted coconut rum — smooth, aromatic, and full of authentic flavor.

Siesta Key Rum Distillery located near the Sarasota Airport. Viera and Shane made a great experience. Viera was very personable and shared great knowledge of the line of rums Siesta Key Rum offers. Shane is one of the mixologist and was a wealth of knowledge for recipes. Highly recommend to visit and taste the line of rums.

This was not what I had expected. It isn’t a tour. More of a lecture. You sit at tables and they explain how the rums are made and prestigious awards they’ve won. You do get samples of all their flavors Was hoping the tiki bar was bigger and brighter but it was so small and dark in the back corner . This is basically an industrial building with the main room holding the tanks and 2 small areas (bar and gift shop). It was recommended by a couple people so we tried it out. Just wasn’t what I was hoping for.

We had the best tour and tasting here! Fantastic rums. Amazing not only in the United States but in the Caribbean too “Go Rum” Kevin is awesome and so much fun! I highly recommend stopping in and taking the tour. Try the silver rum. It’s as smooth as water although toasted coconut is my favorite.
