We booked with Simply Gourmet for our wedding at The Powel Crosley! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was attentive to us! We even missed the appetizers because of photos and they brought us some at our table! They also worked within our smaller guest count/needs if you are having a smaller wedding! which the other caterers did not have that option! Overall did not disappoint!

UNRELIABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Spent many hours over several days, weeks in advance, planning a very important party in Sarasota. I am located over 1,000 miles away and flying in for the event, so planning and coordination was important. Planned a very nice menu and it was very expensive, although I believe it was overpriced. Spent a lot of time on the phone with planners at Simply Gourmet. One week before the event, received an email (not a phone call!) from Simply Gourmet saying that they chose to take on a corporate client and were cancelling the catering of my event. Yes, that's right, a week before the event they pulled out! Very very unprofessional. I guess the money from the corporate client was just too good and they didn't care about my meaningless (to them) event. On the bright side, was able to find a different caterer that was able to provide the same service and basically the same menu for half the price, and with only a weeks notice!

Becky from Metz Catering did a fantastic job with my daughter Lexi’s wedding. She and her team were very attentive to not just the family but all of the guests as well. Multiple guests commented on how delicious the food was and served hot. My daughter works for Diageo , so the bar was very important to her. The guests were thrilled that there was never a wait at any of the 3 bars. My daughter ,the bride, said that Becky was so thoughtful and had plate of desserts prepared for her,remembering her sweet tooth from our meeting with her. It’s always difficult for the bride and groom to even get one bite in their mouth! Metz Catering and Becky were wonderful and made our reception run smoothly and in a timely manner.

Where do I begin?! I just got married 5 days ago and used Simply Gourmet as our caterer and I can’t say enough great things! The venue I got married at (Powel crosley) gives you a few caterers to choose from and I am so grateful we went with Simply Gourmet. While the other caterers tried to upcharge for every little thing, Simply Gourmet was reasonable and accommodating and FLEXIBLE. Becky is a true angel and made my experience so seamless. I was a nervous bride and Becky answered all my annoying questions, even if I asked them multiple times. She even remembered things I forgot. She really went above and beyond and I feel like was on my team! The food was outstanding. I have a very Italian family who can be picky about food and I had multiple people compliment us about the food! The portions were large and the food was tasty. I had so many people with different allergies and they got everything correct! Everything from the lamb lollipops to the generous serving of shrimp skewers to my moms made up request of a tomato baked with breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese was executed perfectly. Truly so accommodating and amazing! Thank you Becky for everything!!!

I can not say enough about the service of the Simply Gourmet Caterers. Chief Larry cooked the food and we had the Taco Bar. Everyone enjoyed it and all the toppings. The salad was awesome. Now to the servers Stephanie and Shannon. They were professional and yet so friendly and fun. They created a beautiful table, and provided over the top service. They couldn't have been better to have had at a gathering of any kind. I can't leave out Jamie to manager who put it all together. She worked with me to get everything to work within our budget. I don't know how many times I changed things and she would get back with me right away to see if this would work. The whole team is fantastic.
