Skillets - Sarasota - Oaks Plaza

I have never had this place until I saw it one day on uber eats and all I can say is WOW! I have never had a bad experience with this place and it’s hard to find places that also package food well for uber eats but Skilletz knocks it out of the park. The food is always a 10/10 my personal favorite is their skillets and I have no idea what magic and love they put into making the bacon but it’s always perfectly cooked and AMAZING! Thank you guys so much for what you do!

Incredible service as soon as you walk in the door. Very prompt and friendly. I am gluten free and the gf pancakes were amazing (Apple cinnamon). Never felt sick afterwards. The bacon on the side was delicious. Not sure where they get their bacon or how they make it, but it's a must have. The orange juice was also freshly squeezed and wonderful. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

ordered take out with the manager Patricia, when we arrived twenty minutes later, our order was lost. another wait. our rushed ticket food was not properly prepared. not crowded and staff not busy. no apology from the manager.

Great food, but the prices…
We so enjoy skillets, but their prices have gotten absurd. All the food is great. Just not breakfast prices at all. Scones are to die for. Have decided we’ll come back just for the scones.

I met with some coworkers here for breakfast and was overall happy with my experience. The service was friendly, and the food (I had the paleo skillet) was tasty, but nothing I would rave about. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. The only negative is I felt the price was a little high for the portion size.

We have been going to Skillets for a while now. The food and service had always been good but today was a complete turnaround. All four of us ordered an egg dish and all four were not up to their usual standards. The poached eggs were hard cooked as well as the over easy eggs and some side items were not served with the orders. My order was incorrect and I waited a long time for the correct order. Also, we never got the half and half for the coffee that we asked for. It was not that busy and there was plenty of waitstaff. Definitely not understaffed. Sad that the experience was a dud. It may be a while until we give them another chance. Sad to say, I heard a few other complaints from other diners.

This is my go to for breakfast or lunch! Everything is always delicious but I especially recommend the scones, and the corned beef hash skillet. The service is always pleasant and prompt. You won’t be disappointed!
