As my first time there I didn’t know what to order, my food looked exactly like how it is on the menu screen. I got the chicken wrap and it was delicious but the ranch is far beyond delicious, the BEST ranch EVER!!!!! I will be coming back and I will go all the way to Sarasota for it.

Slim Chickens lost a customer today. Let me start by saying this location is not extremely busy…It’s actually the least busy restaurant in our area. I went through the drive thru for a to go order and it was brought out by an employee. When she handed it to me I thanked her and before pulling away she decided to give unsolicited information which was “well your order was small so we’re letting you pick it up in the drive thru, if it wasn’t a small order you would have had to come inside” It was just weird because I asked if I could pick it up in the drive thru at the intercom and they told me to come to the window. This restaurant could definitely benefit from training on how to deal with customers. Perhaps they can tell you prior to getting your order that you have to come inside for takeout and not when you’re driving away. It really felt unprofessional and I will go elsewhere. Also, the food was not fresh (rubbery chicken, cold fries, and stale bread) and I have no desire to return.

First time trying slim chicken . Drive through order . Dude taking the order was rude . Was prolly having a bad day . The guy who gave us the order didn’t even acknowledge when we said thank you … , anyways , thankfully the chicken tenders were delicious! As were the fried pickle chips . Glad we tried it. Very similar to Raising canes but not as good

Tried it today for the first time ever. One of the most dry chicken sandwiches I’ve had. They claim “cooked to order” but it definitely wasn’t fresh. The chicken is also pretty flavorless. Pretty disappointed for a first time.
Chicken was rubbery bread was soggy and it was expensive, but the jar dessert was good.

The service was good, but the food was just okay. The tenders were very small, the fries were mostly unseasoned and nothing special, and the Texas toast was buttery but soggy. I was expecting hot, crispy wings, but they were soggy and lukewarm. Arnold Palmer was great.

I was at the Sarasota store #7602 on 12/20/2025 at 5:37 PM. The restaurant parking lot only had one vehicle and my first thought was the place was slow and was I going to be able to get hot food instead of what had been sitting around for a while. My wife and I went in and placed out order and I told the cashier to make sure the chicken and fries were fresh and hot. While immediately filling my drinks cups, our food was delivered to our table. I took a bite of the chicken and it was borderline cold, maybe room temperature at best. I tried the fries and they were about the same, again room temperature.. I took both orders back to the counter and reminded the cashier that I wanted hot food. Within 5-6 minutes our food was brought back to us and this time the chicken was warmer and the fries were still room temperature. I ate a couple pieces of chicken and it was like eating rubber. The same chicken had been put back in the fryer and had been over cooked. I went back to the counter and ask one of the assistant managers about my food being over cooked and still cold french fries. He told me was in charge of the drive-thru window and agreed what I had described wasn't right but he wasn't responsible for that and the other manager was. The other manager never did come to the counter to resolve the issue. I told the manager that I did talk to that since no one wanted to do what was right I would call the corporate office and tell them about my experience. I went to the corporate website and left a review telling them the same thing I have said here, leaving my phone number and email address. It's been over a week now and I still haven't from anyone at corporate. I use to live in the northwest Arkansas area and went to their restaurants in their area. The food and service in that area was good. That doesn't seem the case anymore. Maybe it's the franchises that are ruining their reputation. I know I don't have the desire to go back to any Slim Chickens anymore.
