What a delightful discovery! This charming, chef-owned French café instantly reminded me of home. As a French person, I truly cherish these hidden gems that offer real authentic cuisine and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the homemade pâté (foie-gras style) served with warm, fresh baguette, absolutely delicious. The prosciutto, blue cheese, walnut, and tomato salad with its perfectly balanced vinaigrette was equally wonderful. We chose to sit on the patio, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The French owner came to greet us personally, which added such a warm touch. The staff was friendly, prompt, and attentive. Everything we tasted was authentic and full of flavor. A lovely experience from start to finish! We’ll definitely be returning very soon!

This cafe is great. We loved our crepes and sandwiches. Best of all? The Dubai Crepe! It will melt in your mouth. Aiden was our server. He was polite and attentive to our table. A great young man. If you live in Sarasota you need to discover this cafe and give it a try!

Stopped by mid afternoon on Saturday. Both my wife and I had a Sweet Crepe. Half way through mine I discovered a long black hair with turned me off. It was taken by staff ( 1 counter lady then pulled her hair up.) manager came by and said they have no idea how it got there as it was to long to belong to anyone working there. We were not offered a discount or that crepe for free( only ate half of it.) Bill was just the total on the remote card reader. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

First I should mention that I am French and I know a good croissant when I taste one. The croissants at So French are the best in the Sarasota /Bradenton area. The crepes are as good as any you would eat in Bretagne. In short if you want to taste what good French cuisine is like at a reasonable price this is your place.The baked goods are fresh and prepared by the owners daily. The owner is a very good pâtissière and has an assortment of desserts also available for take out. I highly recommend this cafe.
