We thought the food was ok may be even a tad bland on some things but thats a typical buffet but the staff is outstanding. What gives them such a high rating was the pies , never have I had Peach pie that was that good . The pie list is long and you will want to try several so we asked if we could buy a couple full pies but mix them with several different pieces . The staff had never had anyone ask for that and they said no problem so if you go ask for a full pie with different pieces it’s well worth it because the peanut butter, apple , and chocolate pies are top notch

Our first trip here yielded great blueberry pancakes and incredibly large sausage and gravy. Good food at a good price. The 20 minute wait was worth it. Service was excellent!

Don't bother. When they first opened up it was a great place to eat. Not anymore. They raised the prices quite a bit, and the quality of the food was horrible. We had the buffet and tried the the ribs and fried chicken. Both were still raw in the middle. Won't be going back.

I am from out of town working. Food was good. Had the buffet. Prime rib little over done . Rest of the dishes were good. Staff very friendly and attentive. First time there, will go back.

Went to breakfast here while in town visiting family, the biscuits and gravy are delicious and all 7 of us were completely satisfied with our meal, Belgian waffles, French toast and even had their delicious pork chop. Everything was great, I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Had the dinner buffet $17.99 for adults and $11.99. The food was great. I am obsessed with their peanut butter sauce. You can literally put that stuff on anything ?. They have homemade jams and jelly in there little gift shop when you first walk in. I'm kind of upset that I didn't you got peanut butter sauce to go. I'll be back soon. The meat on the ribs just about fall off the bones.

Awesome homemade food. I miss the Amish and polish food from NE Ohio. This is the next best thing. Glad we found this family diner just off I-75 and Bee Ridge Rd. The buffet was good as was the salad bar.
I was there before and did not like the food but my husband wanted to try it again so we did last week. I got excited about the buffet and thought it might be like Der Dutchman. Der Dutchman is great. The food at Sommers was terrible. They actually give you INSTANT mashed potatoes!!. I didn't like one thing on the buffet. Not even the dessert. How can you mess up dessert?!

Very good!!!.. bit pricey tho.. However, they did serve prime rib on buffet. Think I'll only come on special occasions in future...always good food tho. Will have to check back maybe buffet not so pricey without Prime Rib..

After traveling 2 hours a family of 8, and costing with tip 180.l00 the food was not what we expected, the chicken was dry and overcooked, the turkey was also overcooked and bland, as was what was supposed to be ham but it was in a pan of water and cubed looking nothing like any ham I have ever seen and tasted nothing like ham, the potatoes were ok as was the corn, the stuffing was nothing like any we have ever seen and or tasted and do not wish to try again, the rolls did not taste like bakery fresh and the pies that people raved about were nothing to write home about, would never go again, and sadly the entire party felt the same way and went home hungry and mad at me for choosing this place especially after the long drive, If this is an example of Amish or Dutch food, I will never try it again
