Not good for a few reasonsFirst worst suger cookies I've ever had. The cake was dry. And they never responded back to my concerns. Will never go back.

It was like an oasis I visited when I was getting tired of the heat of Sarasota. There is a kind and pretty part-timer and a cool and suitable cold brew coffee.

Delicious!!!! My new go to place for coffee when I’m downtown. I highly recommend

I chose Sorrento Sweets for a dessert stop because 1) they had both pastries and gelato, thus satisfying both me and my husband, and 2) because they didn’t require masks and I had forgotten mine and didn’t want to be left out of the dessert selection process because of it.I ended up choosing the mango sorbet and was very glad for my choice. My husband ended up with a Napoleon, one of the little shot glass things, and, the crowning glory, a lobster tail with French cream. This last delight is what brought us back the next day, this time for both the French cream and to try the cannoli cream (which was good, but nowhere near the tastiness of the French cream). The crispy pastry shell held a massive amount of cream, so that I, perhaps for the first time in my life, finally met a pastry that had more than enough cream to satisfy me.Oh, we tried sandwiches too - the Sorento caperese was quite good while the pesto chicken was hardly worth eating.Ah lobster tail, I already miss your sweet creaminess!

Loved the Chocolate Croissant. They even heated it for me. They have almond milk for their coffees which is nice for those that prefer it. Great service, can't wait to come try their other pastries.

The LOBSTER TAIL! Sorrento Sweets is a new favorite of mine. I find myself making the trip from Bradenton often for their sweets. The French cream is otherworldly and magical. The staff here are amazing, they always go above a beyond. I love their point system, too. The atmosphere is comfortable and chic, I love the bar table at the window and the cozy chairs.

I was really enjoying this place until I went there earlier this week (2/23) and the barista spilled my coffee all over my shirt and pants. She barely even apologized and I had to go to the law office I work for in a coffee stained blouse and pants.

Great sorbet and gelato. I'm interested to come back and try some of their unique tea blends ... even though this shop is mainly about coffee.
Stopped in for a quick bite. The coffee was good the sweets were amazing. Truly a unique place.

I was so excited to see an Italian pastry store on Main Street in Sarasota. I went in and that had two small cases with bakery items. i didn't get the cannoli because if you put the cream in the cannoli and let it sit, the shell gets soft. So I didn't order that. Disappointing because that's what I wanted when going in there. I settled on the rainbow cookies. I bought two. I took one bite and could tell it was old. I'm sorry to give a bad review but I wouldn't go back there. It just looks like they got the bakery items from publix. Since I've been eating Italian pastries since birth.

Great experience. Wasn't too packed. Everyone has masks and hand sanitizer. Will be back to try their other desserts.
