Nice little place in Sarasota. You order at the counter, and they bring your food out to your table. It was a fast meal and yet very good. They have a large selection of gelato. I had one dip split into 2 flavors. I thought it was very good. You can choose to eat inside, or they have a few tables on the sidewalk to sit at. The dining area was bright from the natural sunlight. It wasn't too loud inside the building. We had a very nice time there.

Just a special place in Sarasota, Been in the business for over 20 years that speaks for itself. Locals know how fast deli's/ restaurants come and go... But not for Southside, the loyal locals and the town visitors seem to always find their way through the door and are happy that they do. From fresh deli sandwiches with all the toppings you could want, daily made handmade soups and all the treats to go along with it. It's a must -go place. I promise you won't regret it!

It's hard to find a deli that does it this way. Made from scratch, freshly baked bread, and large portions at reasonable prices. If you're looking for vegetarian, the eggplant and portobello panini is excellent.

I don’t know how you screw up a turkey club, but it was probably the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. I also got a brownie and it tasted like it was three or four days old. Could not even finish it. Maybe I’m too picky, but it was truly awful. Sorry… The man that took the order was overwhelmed, but really sweet. He was the only one there to help everybody.

Well worth the hour drive from my house ! Incredibly friendly staff and amazing fresh food , the Apple Crisp is the best we have ever had! I wouldn’t normally drive two hour round trip for soup and a sandwich but Southside is the exception!

I just wanna say this customer service here is very very horrible … I recommended my friend here and her experience with the staff and even the owner was unpleasant and rude. As a manager myself this issues would’ve been handled differently no manager should get confrontational with a customer the first should’ve been done was an apology and offer to make the order right then and there properly and the employees lying about their names reflects on the this store .. will never recommend someone here ever again and anyone who asks I will point out the unpleasant customer service.
