If I could give zero stars, I would. As soon as I walked up to the entrance, I saw a roach by the front door—should have taken that as a warning. Looking into the back kitchen was even worse. The place was filthy, and the manager was running around in a shirt so covered in food that it looked like he was using it as a hand towel.
After waiting 45 minutes for a small order, I finally asked an employee delivering milkshakes if I could get a refund. Her response? “We are busy, what do you want me to do about it?” She then grabbed my receipt and walked away without actually doing anything.
Another 15 minutes passed, and I had to track down the drive-thru cashier to follow up. She said she had to get the manager, but instead of helping, he ignored the situation for another 15-20 minutes. After seeing the absolutely unsanitary conditions in the kitchen and on the employees, I was relieved that we never got our food.
Finally, after 1 hour and 15 minutes, we received a refund. This location is a disaster—dirty, disorganized, and poorly managed. As someone with experience in the fast-food industry, I can confidently say this was not a “busy” restaurant. It was simply a mess.
Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

We have been already been waiting patiently 30 minutes for our food to watch an irrate customer walk about being unsanitary. So we decided to watch and can see what looks like the manager with no gloves touching and opening the burgers. Our food was made and forgotten he wanted to serve it as we just watched him with his mate hands take the bread to see what kind it is. Before that we watched him run his face and a sore in his arm. Extremely disgusted accept one employee saw and made our food fresh, asked the manager to put on gloves discreetly. They were extremely busy, but everyone was patiently waiting. Very unacceptable, but the employee was very professional and kind.

Let your food sit on a counter for 5 getting cold with a rag used to wipe the counter on part of your food owner is unprofessional and fails to acknowledge his poor customer service and an even poorer attitude

Place was very disgusting and unsanitary. There was uncleaned counters, a dirty bathroom with clogged toilets, and bad smell. Dried food on surfaces of tables etc. I am posting because I would not want someone to feel comfortable taking their child there. We went out with family there, and we were very embarrassed to have chosen that place. It resulted in my family member not even eating their food.
Horrible service. I have never seen an employee who calls herself the manager hold hands with someone in the drive thru for 5 MINUTES.
She would rather flirt than serve customers.

I dont usually make reviews, but i have to say that the night manager Erick is a gem. Everytime ive interacted with him he's gone above and beyond customer service. Managment should absolutely give him a promotion, ive been eating at cattleman S&S for 10 years now and i havent seen it better than when hes running the night crew. Seriously give that kid a raise.

Fresh, made to order, friendly employees. Awesome burgers, hot fries. Real milk shakes! People should come here rather than the Mc place 2 blocks down. They will never go back to the Mc place. Steak and Shake is far superior!!
Parking: Sarasota, Cattlemen Road next to Home Depot, and in front of Wallmart.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to move around. Bathrooms nice size.
