If you are craving any type of noodle or rice dish then this is the place for you. Wonderful peanut sauce and the food was absolutely delicious and I have tried Thai food in a lot of places. I got the Pad Thai and it was amazing. I highly recommend this place and I will be back when I'm in town. Thank you!Again, you must try the peanut sauce!

GLUTEN FREE SAFE!! First off, I never write online reviews but I feel compelled to do so with Stiks. This restaurant has quickly become one of our favorite spots to eat at in Sarasota. The food is always made fresh (and fast), everyone is always SUPER friendly and the place is decorated with a very chill vibe and ALWAYS kept clean. Both my wife and daughter have Celiac disease and cannot tolerate any cross contamination. I'm here to tell others with the same disease that this place is very safe for you to eat at. They've never been cross contaminated here and we always enjoy the food. This place IMO is a hidden gem in Sarasota and especially for those that wish they can eat this kind of food but fear cross contamination. I highly recommend you give it a try, you won't regret it!Dietary restrictions: Very safe for people with Celiac Disease. We've never been cross contaminated in the many times we've eaten here.Parking: Parking is plentiful and easy to zip in and out of.

Stiks is one of the most immaculate restaurants in Sarasota. It is the epitome of a hidden gem. It’s cozy, warm, welcoming, beautifully designed, and has such a lovely atmosphere that emanates from the entire building itself. When you actually walk into the place, it’s like you’re transformed into a chic, elegant, and refined combination of Laotian & American culture. Every detail is intricate, well thought out, and has such a gorgeous feeling to it. The artwork is so much fun to stare at as well as you wait for the food.Nikki and her mom, Selena run the place efficiently, and you can feel the amount of love that is put into every single dish. I’ve ordered numerous dishes from their menu, and every single one has been scrumptious, delicious, and incredibly consistent, which I feel at the hallmark of a Solid restaurant. All their items are so flavorful, dance on the pallet, and keep you coming back for more.I highly, highly, highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. Do yourself a favor and get lost in all of its flavors ☺️?

Tried to call and place an order~they will not take an order over phone. Tried to do it on line but you HAVE to use your cc card or bank card. Inconvenient way to do business~ I am working and just trying to get dinner ready so I could grab and go b/c I don't have time to wait. Couldn't of cared less. We will never return.

I used to happily go to taste of Asia, but apparently it has changed management, and I believe that this new venue offers a much needed restaurant style in Sarasota. That being said, I don’t enjoy eating. My pad say yew noodle dish out of a cardboard box, and it was only average.I get the same dish at two other places in Sarasota and it’s way more interesting for $16 and comes on a plate delivered by a server with way more ambience. I do like that. Several items are clearly marked vegan. There was no one there midday on a Sunday and I do hope the restaurant survives.

We stopped in for lunch for the first time. This place was called Taste of Asia before. I like the new name better. We only tried two dishes and both were good. The Lao Curry Noodle soup was especially yummy. Something unique tasting about it. Would like to come back and try the other dishes. The people are friendly. The service is different in that you place your order at the front desk with the options items you want added to the dish then you get a pager to let you know when it's ready for pickup from the kitchen.

Consistent, delicious, fresh food! Service is always friendly and fast. The pad thai is really good as are the pork spring rolls and rangoon. Always my favorite choice for Asian takeout.
