It was delicious- so glad I came! My first stop in Sarasota and the snow crab boil with potatoes and sausage did not disappoint. Great customer service and excellent well priced food. What’s not to love? Do yourself a favor and make the stop!

Amazing food!! Great service. The staff and cook were very friendly. They have lots of tables with big umbrellas, t.v clean bathrooms, a nice big swing, clean. When we left they told us to have a nice day and a safe drive. Monday-Friday they have a $10 special plate. I recommend coming here for your money!

Ended up here after a day at Siesta Key. The snow crab boil was amazing-possibly the best ever. The sauce is full of flavor. The atmosphere is like a backyard cookout. We had on our bathing suits and were covered in sand. The owner came and chatted with us. We are from Michigan-but we will be back! 😋🦀

We had the shrimp boil and also fried shrimp with fried okra. The portions were very generous and the food was delicious! Highly recommend this place! The food is takeout style, but there is a very chill area outside behind the building to eat.
I dont know if they were selling day old food but it looked and taste like it. The rice taste like it was uncooked. Fried pickles were old and dry. The lemon pepper chicken tasted like no seasoning, couldn't even taste the lemon pepper. The salmon and sweet potato fries were the only thing good to eat. I hate to leave this review cause I support black businesses but you have to serve quality food. I paid 40 for food and it was horrible.

Great little seafood place off MLK in Sarasota. The best are always “a hole in the wall” and Strokes doesn’t disappoint. Shrimp had really good flavor. Loved dipping the boiled eggs & corn in it. Mashed up the potatoes and smothered in the sauce. Delicious! My only suggestion would be to swap out the sausage links for something as flavorful as the rest of the meal. Friendly service. Nice sitting area with fans. Have added to my spots to stop in when passing thru the area.

When we pulled up, I was a little apprehensive about this place. It's a very small place in a more residential neighborhood. Jack took our order and was very friendly. Jack recommended some things that he said was the best. He forgot an item but apologized and quickly made it. I got the salmon dinner and a side of corn nuggets (jack recommended) and my girlfriend got a salad with chicken. We were both very happy with the taste. The food was seasoned perfectly and cooked well. The seating area out back was comfortable and a relaxing area. The only critique would be to maintain the bathrooms better. Our next trip to the area, we will be back!
