SUSHI BAY KITCHEN & SAKE BAR

We got some last minute sushi takeout around 9pm, it was still delicious and fresh. They rolled the sushis in front of us even right before closing time. Loved this place!

This is my go-to Sushi place, this is a fantastic Sushi restaurant. Not only is this consistently the best sushi I've had, it also surprised me as the best Thai Tea I've ever had as well, which was unexpected. The presentation is spectacular, the staff is always delightful, and food is to die for. Hands down the best sushi restaurant in and around Sarasota.

The service is incredibly slow. There were way too many DoorDash orders for the kitchen to handle, and other patrons were left at the entrance unseated despite all but 2 tables being open.

We ate there about a year ago and it was very good. This time, the wait staff messed up our orders left things off, brought the wrong things to the table, the food was barely OK. 😑 We are probably not going back. This is a case of hiring staff (kitchen and wait staff) that had huge communication issues in listening and responding, and an obvious lack of training.

For true sushi people this place rocks. Always do the sashimi and it is some of the best I've eaten anywhere. The sushi guys are awesome. Great service. Mel took great care of me last time and she did an awesome job. Taking my friends and family there tonight and know that we'll be well taken care of. The rolls are great to. Best sushi place in Sarasota hands down. My go to place in Sarasota.
