Just a plain local spot. The food is nothing special, but it’s always good. You go here because it’s less expensive than most places in Sarasota, but they added a $2 surcharge PER EGG! I understand that egg prices are way up, but $2 extra PER EGG? 50 cents extra, ok. Even $1.00…but $2.00 EXTRA per egg? Really?

Love this hloe in the wall diner find. Just old fashioned fun. Chile dog yum. The little hambergs are too much fun. Feels like I step back 15 years. I will try to come by every few weeks hate to see them go away like most. HOB NOB etc...

Small mom and pop. Very cozy. Open until 2. Breakfast served anytime. Reasonably priced and decent food. Was one of my Mom's favorite places. Now that she has passed on, I come here to reminisce and enjoy a home cooked meal

I grew up going here with my dad. We would often get a huge order of the mini tasty burgers and take them to the job site (he owned his own business) they were always amazing. Sometimes, we would go for dinner, and the owner would always interact with us and make us feel like family. Perfect burger flavors, grilled onions and cheese, melt in your mouth perfect. Since those days, I've taken many people, including my kiddos in for the little burgers, and never has anyone left with a frown on their face. Yes, the decor is out dated, that's the point. It's a time machine to when food was real and people were human. It will always have a place in my heart and be at the top of the list for where I would eat in Sarasota.
Have passed this restaurant many times and never eaten there until today. Excellent Chicken Salad sandwich! Highly recommended!

The only good thing about this place is the waitresses conversation and service. It's old an outdated looking... unless they are going for that? I've had two meals here both Lunch and Breakfast and left hungry bk the portion sizes are for kids. Spent over 20$ w.tip for fake gravy, 1 biscuit split in half and a small sized hashbrowns under it. My order was messed up..bk the cook didn't see I switched home fries to hash browns.... so I waited 30 minutes to eat! My club sandwich was the smallest I've ever seen with little ingredients and a child sized fries which were soggy. Go elsewhere!

Great little place great food and prices!!! The pancakes are thin like crepes ?? everything is cooked to order. Fresh and delicious. Exactly what you want out of a diner.
