Absolutely love The Fat Donkey! The ice cream here is amazing — super creamy, full of flavor, and always fresh. They have so many fun and unique options, it’s hard to choose just one! The portions are generous, and the waffle cones are perfectly crispy and sweet. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has such a fun, laid-back vibe. Whether it’s a quick stop on a hot day or a weekend treat, The Fat Donkey never disappoints. Definitely one of the best ice cream spots around! 🍦🐴

It would have been nice if the actual time that the staff will be back was placed outside. Says there staff will be back by 12:30. I was there with my infant from 12:33 until 1:00.. we just left since it was so hot outside.

This place is actually good i usually expect overpriced subpar icecream. The ice cream is better than most and I got a great combination which made the experience even better. The selection is great and there are more desserts than just ice cream. Staff were very helpful and polite. The fat donkey on the wall adds to the experience.

This is really a tough review because how do you advertise you have churos but then say your out of them. If their that popular you would think they would have enough in stock so they would not run out. Besides that I will say the butterscotch bomb was delicious. Very good flavor. . If I knew they had churros and I was in neighborhood I might come back. If you want just good average cone and ice cream you will be happy. Service was ok. Drives me nuts watching people sitting there watching their phones when customers are in store. Overall I would not go out of my way to go here.

Over priced everything. Over $15 for a cone.. Staff are unfriendly teenagers, they’re visibly bothered when they have to do their job. Sarasota creamery down the street is 10x better in every way.

Awesome people, got me and my friends ice cream quick!! Sadly they didnt hsve any soft serve dipping but the key lime pie ice cream bowl was delicious!!! Highly recharged
