I've seen so many different versions of "dive bar" I never know what to expect. Overall, I very much recommend this one. This is a nice bar with a dark yet cozy interior. It's comfortable, and there's a good bit of seating inside with a little more outside. There's one unisex bathroom here that was clean and stocked.The crowd seems to be "older" couples and tourists with some college kids from Ringling stopping by from time to time. Friendly bartenders and staff.It's got decent prices for the area and honestly the food is quite good. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the potstickers and poutine. I haven't gotten the wings yet, but everytime someone at my table orders them, I regret not getting any myself because they look very good.Parking: There's a parking lot around back. I've never had an issue finding a spot.
Finally checked this place out for a cocktail on the way to dinner after driving by a thousand times over the years. Definitely fits the dive bar mantra but actually pretty nice inside. We got lucky and got the couch and a couple of chairs.We did not have food but the menu looked great with most items $10 or less. Also no music while we were there.The drinks were excellent and well made and under $10. We had a Negroni, old fashioned, Cosmopolitan and a beer and they do not use the cheap stuff. The Negroni had Carpano Antica Vermouth.Bartender was cordial and engaging. I can where parking could be tough.We’ll be back

We’ve only gone here for drinks and music, mid to late evening for an hour or two. There is usually a good mix of people, from younger students, to neighborhood folks, to local area visitors, like us. It’s kinda dive bar, but better kept than true dive. Has a good vibe, good music, live or radio. Bartenders pour great drinks for good prices, and make it through the lines pretty quick.Next up will be to try the food! See attached menu. Food is pickup at window not table service.Parking: Back lots seem to fill up on live music nights. Can park in neighborhood streets behind, short walk.

I didn't try the food but the place is decent, someone said the tatertots were pretty good. The bar tenders were quick and paid attention to who walked up with fast service. The place did a 180 between 9pm and 1am. Started with rock music, people with painted faces then as night went on was alittle more hiphop as the crowd changed.
