This place is a breath of fresh air. I work for MasTec and we are here from south Florida doing restorations to the electric out here. And these ladies greeted us swiftly and got us seated. The food was delicious, and warm. But the way we were treated, was like family. These ladies offered a discount, but we refused. Because we don't know how badly they were affected from this storm. But, they made us take a pack of cookies each for the road??
This place is highly recommended to anyone wanting a good meal, and wants to be treated like family.

Once we entered the restaurant we eventually Got greeted by a very unhappy worker. She approached us pointed to a table and said you “you can sit here” what happened to hi? Hello? Where is the customer service ? The food was very small portions and over priced! The quiche was like eating an egg milkshake. It has toppings but the toppings hardly existed in the quiche.I also Ordered a side of breakfast sausage and it was 5$ for one Small and flat piece of sausage that the size of a sticky note. Sad to say I will not be coming back.
Service was excellent and the pastrami sandwich was excellent. Krystal did an excellent job.
Thank you!

The place wasn’t busy but it took forever to get someone to come take our order. It was about 35 minutes after arrival to receive our food. This is a breakfast place and there were two other tables there. The spinach in the omelet was obviously previously frozen and had a dirt taste. The grits were watered down. I don’t think the bread was actually from a locally bakery as advertised. Overall, I won’t go back. It’s very pricey for the quality.

There are so many good breakfast spots in Sarasota and Oasis is in the top 5 in my opinion. The food is fresh, the menu is creative, the specials are … well special. They have gluten free options Everything I have had here is outstanding and it has become one of our goto breakfast spot. They also serve what I believe is the best Huevos Rancheros in town. It’s def a creative interpretation of the dish but is absolutely delicious Highly recommended.

I love the food!!! Family owned place!!! Which is awesome the only problem is the dad, Jim he is a smart aleck and he makes it hard for his family to keep good employee's. Not fair to his familty to have to accommodate his lack of respect for his helpers. I had the opportunity to witness this first hand and it was shocking . . But the food is fabulous! !!!

One word............STUNNED! (oh I can think of others; disgusting, shameful, rude, bully, hateful) Let me preface this review by saying this is literally the first time I ever sat down to write a review, but felt compelled. I visited the cafe with my father and children. We are visiting him from out of town. We are big supporters of local business and family owned and were excited to have a good breakfast together. Upon entering the cafe we were immediately addressed by a woman (who I learned is ASHLEY, the owners rude and disrespectful daughter) who harshly directed us to "go sit at a table that wasn't dirty" and when we attempted to sit-down she slapped our hands that it was for five people and we would have to move to a table for 4. OK - maybe she was having a bad day and we shrugged it off. It is a THURSDAY morning 10;30ish am and the restaurant is not even 1/2 full. I inquired how the avocado toast was prepared and Ashely (pulled her silver spoon out of her mouth just long enough) to give a less than enthusiastic response which I tried to make light of and giggled and smiled at her in return. Ashely began in a childish infantile manner reciting the recipe, how it was prepared, how it tasted, how it was served. It was such an uncomfortable feeling. She began to whine how she had other tables and so much work -HIGHLY inappropriate to share with your customer and quite frankly not a reason to be so rude anyway. The experience only continued to get worse. The food we were served I would call a mediocre meal at best. The serving of hashbrown potatoes was 1/4 of a proper serving. My fathers breakfast was served with Toast which he was given the end two pieces of the bread, the kind that taper at the end. The end pieces are but a mere 1/3 of a regular piece. Forget that it was burnt. My father kindly asked Ashley to bring him another piece. Instead of trying to please the customer and apologize for their poor decision to serve such poor-quality service, she began to blame the bread> Yes you read that correctly. In her spoiled child like manner, she rattled off "well it's not my fault that the bread is made that way, and you got the end pieces and some days that's just the luck of the draw!!" WHAT - I COULDNT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING. Are you kidding me? How about apologizing for serving such crap. I am not kidding when I say things went from bad to even worse. Ashely began to argue with my father. 15 minutes went by and still didn't bring over the new toast. When we. asked again she then blamed the kitchen stating, "well I ordered it and I don't know what the hell they did." Again, highly inapposite. I will try to wrap this lengthy review up by sharing I then stepped in and asked Ashley to stop being rude to my father and felt it was wrong. She mouthed back. I am a highly educated women in her 50s who was accompanied by my two children between the ages of 11-17 years. I WAS APPALLED WHEN ASHLEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO THEN ACTUALY ADDRESS MY KIDS BY STATING "GIRLS I FEEL SO SORRY FOR YOU." PLEASE TELL ME WHAT KIND OF A PERSON DOES SUCH A THING - It is downright inexcusable!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS DID NOT JUST OCCUR ONE TIME BUT SHE DID IT AGAIN A SECOND TIME AND THEN ADDED "YOUR GRANDFATHER IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO BECOME." HOW ABBSOLUTLEY DISGUSTING AND INNAPPORRATE OF THIS WOMEN. I COULDNT BE PROUDER WHEN MY DAUGHTEER TURNED TO ASHELY AND RESPONDED "NO YOU ARE THE EXAMPLE OF WHAT SOMEONE SHOULD NOT BECOME" Let me add that during this time Ashely's daddy and owner came over to my father (very close in his face) and said what is the problem over here. My father began to explain all the while his grown daughter acting like a child is mouthing off in the background. To say their behavior was nothing less of a sh-t show in being kind. The owner grabbed our bill and ripped it up and told us to leave. WE COULDNT BE HAPPIER as I definitely didn't want to give them even a penny for such a horrible experience. I later learned that

We go out to breakfast several times a week and are always looking for great places. This is not one of them. Server has an obnoxious superiority complex. Very rude and just not nice. We had to get up and leave. These guys should close their doors if they can’t find better people than that. Also menu sucked and the place smelled bad
