Don't waste your money! Unfortunately I didn't have the benefit of an honest review before purchasing a unit at the Residence on Lido. While most of the staff are wonderful one bad apple spoils the bunch. The management is beyond incompetent and the residents I have met are mostly entitled and rude with the exception of a handful of lovely and kind people. Living on such beautiful real estate should be heaven but living in this building is one frustration after another. If you plan on living here full time, LOOK ELSEWHERE, trust me.

AMAZING!!

Just a review of pool side food.It was awful. At a high end hotel and prices you expect the food to be freshly made and presented.The coconut shrimp was made from frozen with so much soggy breading that it was uneatable.The mahi sandwich had a very strong fishy smell like no other we have ever consumed and fries were made from fake potatoes.The nachos were soggy and swimming in watery cheese with a little bit of topping and meat. Very disappointed in all food. Drinks were weak and very sweet. The pool side chairs are in dire need of upgrades as the cushions are falling apart.

Gentleman at front desk said there was no restroom. Not very accommodating.

Amazing sundown experience. Started my afternoon at the Tiki bar which was a good call. They were short staffed and helping with orders on the beach. Though Solo, it was a semi quiet bar family and children friendly. Shout out to (Joe) who attended to me and was very attentive. After my meal I went to lounge. Beach waiters were attentive as well i.e water bucket and umbrella etc. I felt well attended to though I did not require much. I want to applaud management towards the etiquette and team spirit the men and women had. I could hear many complaints of orders being skipped or taking too long, yet felt the crew did thier best by compensating in other area's. I do have to say to update the beach lounge chairs they are very uncomfortable.

The hotel need an update of furniture and bathroomThe restaurant at the lobby reception need better kitchen ventilation to avoid the heavy food smell hitting the noise at the check in areasThe ritz Carlton Sarasota need a major improvement and new chair instead of the ruined plastic chairs that are in very bad shape and without mattressThe food at the beach restaurant need a 100% improvement and complete new cooking team that know the difference between tender chicken we ordered and the stone chicken we gotWe stayed in many ritz Carlton around the world and this is by far the worst we ever seen so farFinally we realized that the high rooms prices are extremely expensive compared to the hotel actual situation and ancient architecture and furniture

This place is amazing

Honest Review:Had a great weekend here with a special event for matrimonies either getting married for the first time or renovating their vows. Unfortunately, majority of our guests were treated unfairly due to racial discrimination and even thrown off the property with aggression. All this done was done in a matter of 20 minutes from this one employee called "Jakee Riviera" (Middle aged guy, chubby texture, and curly hair). The employee Jakee had a horrible stench of marijanua that even the valet employee told us he was just smoking here and took a long break. Later on,, the employee Jakee started laughing and even smiling after doing all of this. Therefore, we talked to the manager "Hugo Hamm" and he resolved everything. Our guests are still shocked and they will be filing a lawsuit against the employee and the hotel for the following reasons:Racial Discrimination, Assault, Negligent Security, Hotel Assault, etc.. I don't recommend coming to this hotel unless you plan to avoid this employee, who by the way, was not fired and is still employed.

I was a guest of someone that lived there, but the staff made me feel as if I was home. Very kind and professional!
