Got there about an hour before sunset and was told right away that they would be closing soon, not the best welcome. We ordered 2 mojitos, they came in about a minute, no muddling, just some soda water, splash of rum, throws in some mint leaves, horrible. After time someone came they reminded them they were closing, even though it was a beautiful evening and not yet sunset. Just rude bartenders, horrible drinks, the stars are for the tiki hit itself and location on the beach. Bathroom was nasty as well, not what I expected from the Ritz. Shame!

Best place in Sarasota to put your feet in the sand and drink a kick ass Pina Colada! Highly recommend.

I've been going to the Tiki Bar for the past 24 years and it just gets worse every year. Used to be my favorite place, not so anymore. Drinks are grossly over-priced and the bar is negligently under-staffed. Today it was 20 minutes before we could get someone to take our order (just drinks!), another 20 before the last of the order arrived. i don't fault the staff, they're excellent and really hustle (especially Lauren!) but they can't perform miracles. Management needs to get their stuff together, or the Ritz needs to get new management.

Service at the tiki bar was awful! Sat with an empty cup for at least 40 minutes. Not one bartender made eye contact. Other people came in waited on them first. Asked a bartender if he could get us a drink he acted like he didn’t hear us. Horrible! So disappointed!

Joe was a terrible server. Initially took our order and did not ask if we were staying at the hotel like all the other patrons. Then proceeded to ignore us at the bar the entire time we tried to order a second round because he never came back to our table. We’d already spent $70 on food and drinks and he acted like we weren’t at the bar waiting. Horrible service, can’t recommend this place to anyone. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

I always love this tiki bar! The drinks are fantastic and the service is always phenomenal. Lauren is THE BEST and always takes great care of us.

Ahhhhhh . . Smoothie for a cutie and grownup Rum Runners for the big kids. Self serve for nachos and French fries, but delivered with a smile. Sand between our toes, cool breeze and happy hearts!

Food was good. Outdoor beachfront dinning. Beautiful ocean views. We rented ebikes and parked them on beach and ate.

When looking for a Tiki Bar where you can put your toes in the sand and walk to the water - this is the only game in town! Comes with the Ritz Carleton standard of excellence when it comes to service and quality! Great spot!Parking: Only challenge to this beautiful spot is parking - if you are a member or guest at the Ritz hotel, they have valet parking… if not, then you have to find street parking and may have to walk a couple of blocks. Ot terrible, just a little inconvenient.

Very average tiki bar, but it was on the beach. Drinks were really expensive.

Went to the bar, it's your typical grass hut bar. Nothing good or bad. I would go again.
