I never received my order and Mitchell Soffer would not refund my order, so I disputed the charge on my credit card and Mitchell responded, "guess you're just another typical J/O ... there's a disclaimer on my check out page so you will lose!"
The worst online customer service I have ever received, and I buy a lot of wine online. Horrible!

I’ve ordered quite several cases of fine wines here. Mitch is ok but I’m not sure what is the deal is with the wife but every time I call and that she picks up, she is so RUDE AND STRAGHT UP RUDE. She yelled at me a like she had some frustration which I just can’t understand why. And always hung up on me before I finished asking questions. She acts like I call to ask her bank account. I’m so clueless. She yells at me for like “you always call when Mitch is not here and you don’t order.” It’s so weird when I begged her every time to take my order because I needed the wines. I’ve spent almost 5k with them, and she said that. Please have some Manner if not some sense of customer service at least in general. Look at how they respond my review!

I’ve been buying from Mitch for years. He consistently has the lowest prices around and is extraordinarily knowledgeable with helping select bottles at any price range. He has a large climate controlled room for storage and he consistently emails great selections.His website could be easier to navigate but that’s minor.

5 stars for excellent recommendations. 1 star because the owners were not wearing masks during my last two visits. This is not a large store and it is difficult to socially distance. I will not be able to return unless they wear masks or the pandemic is over. I have a feeling it will be a LONG time. What a shame.

I’ve been a client of Mitch and The Wine to Buy.com for 5 years. Great selection with the lowest prices with as much personal service as you want. We all get too many emails from various businesses. The Wine to Buy.com is the only one I read completely. I have purchased many cases of the special deals Mitch finds. All have been superb. Also he has put together gift cases which I have sent to friends. If you enjoy wine this is Sarasota’s Best Wine store.

I used to buy wine here a few years ago and got one bad bottle wanted to return it the owner would not take it back. Let a few years go by and out of convenience started shopping hear again. My wife bought a bottle of wine there a couple of weeks ago. When she poured herself a glass last night it tasted like soap .We called asked if we could take it back we didn't want our money back just another bottle of wine the lady on the phone said that would be fine. When I came to bring it back the gentleman who works there tasted it and decided that there was nothing wrong with it and he did not exchange it. I understand he's a small-time outfit but that is poor customer service. Total Wine is right down the street I think I will be shopping there from now on. Good business practice is hard to find these days. I don't represent a lot of business to this gentleman however the $18 bottle of wine I wanted to exchange will cost him any and all business that I have and I will always tell people of my poor experience there. I guess it's worth it to him.
