Even thought the space still feels like Shore Restaurant, the menu is definitely quintessential Tommy Bahamas. I loved the ahi tacos.
Great to see the new restaurant. It lacks the rustic charm of the old place. Cocktails amazing as always, food was average. Mash on one of our tables entrees was cold even the replacement, and the Thai dish needed much more sauce and flavour. Having looked forward to dining there all the way from Scotland we were rather disappointed 😏
The restaurant is beautiful. The new location did not disappoint in appearance and food selection! The steak salad and fish tacos were amazing! Service was awesome!
Saba steak salad, I've been dinning at Tommy Bahamas for years. And my favorite always has been the fillet salad. Not only for its multifaceted flavors but for its presentation. Yesterday changed my whole definition of that salad. I thought it was derivative. It lacked presentation. It wasn't anywhere close to the way it was presented for years and years. Very sad oversaturated lettuce with dressing very disappointed and it's gone from $20-$27 a few tiny tomatoes on it instead of a full Italian tomato that was always sweet and fresh. The lettuce was always fresh and crisp not soggy. The potatoes were sliced on the edge of the plate along with the tomatoes. The presentation was amazing with the drizzle dressing. My favorite is gone.
Generally disappointed with the experience. We used to dine at the St. Armands Tommy Bahama restaurant when it was at 300 Ringling and always enjoyed every aspect of the experience. Our experience at this new location: The food was 4/10 – neither our appetizer nor our mains awed us. The service was 6/10 – the bar couldn't make the cocktail I used to get at the previous location; we ordered a hamburger for our child and a cheeseburger was delivered. The ambiance was 6/10 – there was more character at the previous location. I don't see us returning.
Absolutely LOVED the new space. The decor was appealing, service and food wonderful. Our only improvement would be easier/closer parking but that's not in Tommy Bahama's control. Best of luck in this new location.
Absolutely stunning decor. Service and food was excellent! Glad to have TB back on the circle.
Went to Tomm Bahama on Saturday and had a 7:30 reservation. Had to wait almost an hour to get seated. When we finally were seated, there was no recognition for the extended wait. I would have appreciated a visit by the manager to explain what occurred. I know they have only been open for 2 weeks but something was broken that evening. The food was OK and the drinks were not great (had the blood orange margarita and it was very watered down and I couldn't taste any orange in the drink). I have been to numerous Tommy Bahama restaurants in the past and this one needs some major work / training to get up to par.
Dining room layout left a lot to be desired. Seating to close together. We could not have a private conversation. The old location was much nicer all the way around. We would frequent the old location quite often so we thought we would support the new location but it was not a pleasant experience. I had a very large plant overtake me in my seat and there were no other available seats, and yes we had a reservation. The noise level was so loud it was uncomfortable. We will probably not be back. Food and drinks were good but for the seating situation was not worth it for us.
Excited to vsiti the new location for TB. Food and service were very good. Loved the favorite macadamia nut snapper. Mason was our server and he was terrific. Told us about the new requent diner rogram and we subscribed. Thee evening we were there they had a keyboardist singer. The place is too small and crowded for that kind of entrtainment. She made it more noisey than it needed to be. Would suggest eliminating that service. We will be back.

First time back since the reopening. We have frequent in Tommy Bahamas for more than 10 years at their old location and we're looking forward to its reopening. This is a very different experience than the last one ,was very disappointed that their signature bread was not only gone, but their new bread was a charge And not nearly as tasty in my opinion. The restaurant was very loud. It was hard to hear the person sitting across from me. When dinner was served, the salad arrived with the dinner. No acknowledgment that that was a problem. They just piled the dinner next to the salad. Overall, very disappointed after this long wait for the reopening. Hoping it's new opening hiccups and it will get better and hoping they bring back their bread.
I had the filet mignon salad which was outstanding! Service was good, noise level high. Because it opens to the outside it was a bit warm. It was loud in the bar area but lively which I liked. Not crazy about all the stairs going up to the restaurant but I would definitely go back for that salad!
Nice place for a date. Gettem ready.
