Authentic Chicago dogs! Great owner. Super casual atmosphere. Only knock was the dogs were kept warm in warm water, and weren’t thoroughly drained or dried before placing on the bun, making the buns a little soggy. But still, they were delicious. If the dog was dried, this would be a five star rating.

I've been hitting Tony's up for years now, anytime I come down to Gulf Gate. The place is chill, I've only ever had positive interactions with any of the employees, and they have the best chilli for chilli dogs in town. They also have some of the best fries around, and I appreciate the effort they put into their food.

The best Italian beef. Best fries, they cut them fresh. Great hotdogs and a really good chicken sandwich. Be sure to get the beef dipped and with hot peppers. Amazing.

I had my first Chicago style hotdog and my fiancée had the Italian beef. Both meals were so delicious! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Tony was very personable and had the best recommendations! I would definitely recommend trying out Tony's!

It’s a special niche of place. Sweet home Chicago in Sarasota. The food is both authentic and delicious. Chicago dog, Italian beef and a personal fav called the Knuckle Sandwich. Totally delicious.

This dad and son hot dog joint is good. As a New Yorker I know my hot dogs and these Chicago guys got it on point. Very friendly service. The food is fresh. I really enjoyed experiencing this place. Definitely recommend it your down for a hot dog , burgers and fries. The son of the owner was such a cool nice fella and I will definitely be going back and recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you. And GOD bless. A+++++++++++

The absolute best. Came in an hour before close and Tony, the man, the myth, the legend, was still cranking out food. I make sure to stop here at least once when I'm in town. Thank you for the delicious food my friend.

Awesome Chicago style food options in Gulf Gate in Sarasota. Had the Chicago Fire Dog, it was amazing! Fries reminded me of boardwalk fries.
We also tried the polish sausage and it was equally amazing, honestly probably one of the best I've had anywhere!
Highly recommend going to this hidden gem in Gulf Gate!

I absolutely love everything about this place. From the owner Tony being a gem of a human being, to the food served up with love by Tony himself as he hand carves the beef, to the decor and feel of an old-time sandwich shop. When you do a few things really well, you don't have to have a huge menu and Tony does it really well. I'm already craving another sandwich. Tony, it wasn't a threat, I'll definitely be back 😆
