Great food great prices! Great for take out! There's free parking in the small parking lot or street parking. The service was excellent. The chef is always welcoming and gives great recommendations. The ambiance is very low key or laid back. This place is great for take out!
On our way to our rental condo I came across Tony's as we approached Sarasota. Five stars is an obvious rating for this gem. In my experiences, many restaurants "think" they represent Chicago cuisine by having a few Chicago Cub pictures hung throughout the restaurant. Tony's is the real thing that backs up their Chicago roots with excellent, authentic Chicago food. They had a lot of Chicago paraphernalia displayed that was fun to look at as i waited for our lunch. The menu is perfect with Vienna Chicago hot dogs, Polish sausages, house made Italian Beef, brats, char grilled burgers, hand cut fries, etc. I ordered Italian Beef (dipped) and my wife had a Chicago dog and fries. The beef was perfect, juicy and wonderfully spiced. I could close my eyes while eating this delight and pretend I was at Portillo's, Mr. Beef (Chicago) or any other outstanding Italian Beef spot at their best. My wife's hot dog was great as were the hand cut fries. She even shared some of her fries with me. Unfortunately our month long rental is on the opposite side of the state so it will be difficult to be a regular customer. I'm already planning our return route so we can stop at Tony's again. p.s. if Yelp ever goes to 6 stars, I will come back and revise this review.

We stopped by randomly on our way back from Siesta Key Beach. It's small, but they were quick and the hot dogs and fries were amazing. Best hot dog I have possibly ever had. I would definitely recommend.
