I am here just about everyday. Under new ownership and the new owner has stepped it up. First, I have to give a shout out to my Girls, they take care of me everyday and do it with a smile every time. The new owner has made great improvements to not only the Establishment, to the entire Restaurant. Much needed upgrades have been made and he plans to make it even better. I wish the new owner great success and to my Girls, I couldn't make it through my week without you! Thank you! Chelsey

I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe, BUT I WENT TWICE. There were 3 ladies (I want to be specific) I ordered one smoothie with coconut, pineapple and blueberries (I used to ordered that every time I would go to another Tropical Smoothie because I am highly allergic to Strawberries. But a this store the smoothie was terrible one sip of the smoothie and it tasted like the Fruits were old or the water was from the sink, I went back in two seconds later and they had to remake me THE SMOOTHIE again; JESUS HORRIBLE(AGAIN) I TOOK LIKE 3 more sips and I had a STOMACHACHE. The Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Downtown Sarasota is not WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY and most importantly your health. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Not to my fiancés peers from Ringling College or mine.

i used to have a restaurant there, named Le Bordeaux in 2017 and i always would come and get meals here every day until our restaurant closed i never came back...

I just received a $25 ticket because I parked for 5 minutes to pick up my to-go Smoothie.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced in a tropical smoothie. I used to go to the North Port location all the time when I was working in that area. Ordered ahead for curbside here, notified the staff I arrived and 10 mins later nobody brought my food out so I go inside and both employees are on their phone. One of my wraps was supposed to have no cheese, it had cheese so had to throw that away when I got home. Also, the wrong chips were given to me as well. Terrible service and incorrect food.

Love this place smoothie are great

My daughter and I went to this cafe and brought two wraps and two smoothies. First off, the smoothies were not appropriately blended every couple of sips, there would be chunks that would block the straw. The wraps went to the trash. They were practically cold, and my wrap was missing ingredients. I frequently go to Tropical Smoothie, and, unfortunately, this is the first time they have disappointed me. I was hungry and looking forward to this meal. I think this smoothie location needs to provide better services or change its name to McDonald and I'll be less disappointed with the service.
