We were in Siesta Key for Thanksgiving and saw Turtles was serving a traditional Tday meal plus other entrees. We’d eaten at Turtles on previous trips to SK and was always happy with the food and atmosphere. We made reservations for 6:30pm. I mention this because I’m sure the staff was exhausted by then after a very busy holiday, but we were still greeted warmly and seated outdoors. It was dark, but sitting by the water made the evening more memorable. Most of our party ordered the turkey meal with all the traditional, yet gourmet sides. I had the coconut encrusted mahi mahi, and it was definitely the best meal I had the entire vacation. If you’re in the area, I would highly recommend stopping by Turtles for food or drinks (we loved the house Cabernet). You won’t be disappointed!

take out dinner for my wife and I. Blackened grouper tocos were excellent. My wife had a 6 oz filet that was surprisingly good for a primarily seafood restaurant. total cost was $50 a great value.

Really enjoyed eating here at the Turtles Restaurant. I actually ate here twice while here in Siesta Key and was impressed both times. I really liked the stuffed shrimp, I’d never had anything like it before. The second time I had the fish tacos with blackened grouper. I have to say that was my favorite. I also had a Key Lime Colada. I enjoyed it so much I had to have two. Lastly I really liked the location by the bay and the views from the patio.

This is a great spot. Been here a few times. Had a nice server, prompt service and great food. Finish up at the beach and stop for some lunch or dinner. *UPDATE* Here I am again in Sarasota and I went here again. This time I had the Chicken Alfredo. It was fantastic. Great service as always. I'll stop again. Maybe the steak.

We had a party of 6, they added nutmeg to my cocktail which the smell overpowered the drink and made it undrinkable, the shrimp Alfredo tasted like it was sauce from a jar and the shrimp wasn't very impressive, my daughter really enjoyed the salmon and my husband liked his burger. The kids macaroni and cheese looked good but my grandson didn't eat it. The bathroom was fun and our waiter was friendly

I am a regular at Turtles and was fortunate enough to get Savannah as my server. She has personality plus and took my dining experience to the next level by suggesting menu items I may not have tried but so glad I did! If you want delicious food at affordable prices then make Turtles your destination. And if you want to accompany a good meal with excellent service, request Savannah!

Man who answered phone gave different seating info than host gave upon arrival. Not a good start for a restaurant I frequented 1995-2000's. Definitely has not changed for the better. Food was OK. Neither of us liked the Avacado Fries. Server cleared our table after specifically being told not to and brought us the check out front where you can smoke. Not a good end. Other patrons we spoke with out front weren't thrilled with the place either. Incidentally, the server re-set our table and my friend had another Stella Draft before we left. When it started to drizzle rain, staff removed all umbrellas surrounding us except one at our table. So, without additional umbrellas we opted to leave rather than get wet. Thank goodness for good friends who tempered the poor experience with his enjoyable company!

Alexa the waitress was amazing, took very good care of us. I asked for vegetarian quesadilla and she was so accommodating. It was delicious! Also staff was very welcoming to my well behaved dog. I will definitely be back.

The food was cooked perfectly. The chicken was tender and delicious. The prices are reasonable and the waterfront view is amazing with plenty of seating available both indoor and outdoor.
Our server Samuel was amazing, so shout out to him. We live 2 hours away, and the drive is worth it. We will keep coming back.
