Veronica Fish and Oyster

We LOVE this neighborhood gem in Southside. The food is always soooo good and the atmosphere is awesome! Daniel, Aaron, Jim and the other bartenders make the best drinks and the wait staff is top notch. We had Steven again last night and he is attentive and fun- excellent service. The crab and avocado app is so yummy every time as are the rolls with lobster salad. We also love the Mahi BLT and the caesar salad with salmon. This is one of our favorite go to spots.

Always a pleasurable experience, created and carefully curated from front to back of the house. We always appreciate the care and love they put into making it special. Many thanks to CB, Aaron, Marsi, Daniel, also our amazing server, and entire A-team!

Excellent food and service. We had snapper and grouper and delicious fish dip with fried crackers!! So yummy! We love this restaurant!

A very pleasant dining experience. Started off with an assortment of oysters which are the best in the area. My wife loved the potato rolls with the chicken liver patte and lobster spread. I had the Red fish entree which is absolutely fantastic. Stephen, our server/meal guide was excellent. He was knowledgeable and offered great suggestions from beginning to end. Our favorite restaurant in Sarasota. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Neat little place. First time I have eaten any of or an entire Cornish game hen. I was a little worried about how this would go and besides me eating like the pollack I am I pleasantly surprised at how delightful it was. Great bathrooms, tasty drinks, nice decor.

Loved this place, the new Grouper dish is the best in Sarasota with the Caviar sauce, the service is always 5 star and the cocktails are craft and on point, we love seeing the staff here continue to remember us and greet us right at the door where we always see a smiling face, never had a bad mean here- very great for a date night but also love going to the bar and visiting with the bar staff for a quick meal (New HH Lobster wraps are so good) try to Clam Chowder it beats any in this area! Weekend specials are BACK and we LOVE them! Keep it ip!

The last thing we expected on our first visit to Veronica's was to be rushed. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and before we were half way through them our entree arrived. Not long after, a waiter came to take our plates even though we weren't finished. We left feeling like our time wasn't valuable so it's not likely that we will go back.

Came for drinks and light bites and got coveted seats at the bar. Bartenders were on point and the Manhattan and Old Fashioned made very well

The crab covered in Avocado had an excellent flavor as did the crab cakes. Probably didn’t need to order the fries but we did and finished them off.

Long time patron. Great food and for a first very unfriendly and dismissive bar staff who ignored us repeatedly. Seemed bothered when asked for a drink and to order some food. Super disappointed and will likely not return, was a favorite but all goods come to end. Doubt the management will care either way.
