We have had the most wonderful experiences at Veronica’s. The food is always delectable, and the service always impeccable. The interior has a gorgeous, art-nouveau/Victorian inspired design, which is a pretty cool place on its own merit to eat delicious seafood in. But the food supersedes even the design—we particularly are fans of the little eyedroppers of special sauce for the oysters (better for microdosing the flavor with, my dear)! Finally, a note about the service—we have been lucky enough to have the wonderful Rebecca as our server multiple times. She remembers our family each year and provides the kindest, most impeccable service…outdoing herself each time. She is the highlight of every visit and we can’t wait to be back next time!

Veronica's is our favorite spot in Sarasota. We like to sit at the bar. We have been lucky enough to be taken care of by Alexandra on multiple visits. She is unsurpassed. The food is amazing. We share the avocado/crab dish. Get it!! Sooo good. Oysters are always excellent. This time we got the Crab Cake and a side of their amazing fries. The vibe/atmosphere and the neighborhood make it all even more special. Again thank you Alexandra!!

Absolutely incredible. We sat at the bar and had the best service from Rebecca! I served and bartended for about 8 years and am pretty picky when it comes to service, She was 10/10 incredible. The food was phenomenal as well. We had oysters, octopus, crab cake, crab and avocado roll and brussel sprouts. We honestly wanted to try one of everything on the menu.We had blue points and pickle point oysters on the half shell and they were very fresh. The red wine vinegar mignonette and the habanero extract mignonette were the perfect accoutrement to the oysters.The octopus was very tender and charred to perfection. The potatoes and Italian peppers were a very good pairing.Crab cake was a lot of crab meat and perfectly crisp with succulent salmon caviar on top.Crab and avocado roll was also extremely tasty. The presentation was great as well.Also shout out to the bartenders for making some great craft cocktails! Old fashioned with rye bourbon was one of the best I've had. Cheers!

We were BEYOND blown away at the 20/10 experience we received at Veronicas! We're pretty particular when it comes to seafood & oysters (we know fresh!) & satisfied is an understatement. We tried a little bit of everything (even got a custom craft gin cocktail!) Rebecca our server truly made our experience. She's perfect representation of how one should be in the service industry!! We WILL be back!
I thought I really liked Veronica’s but I’m not so sure after last night. Our main course was delivered 1.25 hours after we placed our order. We ordered a dozen oysters as an appetizer: The MOD brought two sauces for the oysters to the table and explained how to use them, but then we waited another 30 minutes for the raw oysters. Our server was inattentive and never offered any explanation for why we were kept waiting so long. And by this time the place was nearly empty. We felt the staff of a restaurant of this caliber should provide patrons with an explanation as to why the meal was taking so unusually long.

I give the experience overall an F. The food I had, pate and sweet porato, were close to inedible. The others in my pantry liked their food only slightly better. Awful experience and expensive to boot.

Hands down best restaurant in Sarasota! Most attentive service even during the peak of busy season! Always impressed with the food quality also- this place is busy- make sure to have a reservation - management always makes sure to check on you and smiling hostesses up front- does not get any better then this place!
The poorest level of service we've ever experienced here. Waited 1.25 hrs for our meal. The server paid little to no attention to us, even with the place half empty while we were there. An explanation for the food delay and an apology for the long wait we endured would have been greatly appreciated.

We had the best dinner ever! The fish was so fresh, the oysters, excellent, the liver pate was the best I have ever had! Our service was outstanding and we could actually carry on an intimate conversation as it wasn't noisy at all, even though it was 6:30pm! It is a little pricey, but it was worth it. We will be back!
