Had no intentions of getting takeout for dinner but they were on site at my apartment and so fast. Pizza is something I am picky about being from NY. I got the margarita pizza with hot honey. Pizza was made in front of me and was absolutely delicious. Thin with a slight burned crust yet not charred and still slightly doughy. Many restaurants say they make a Margherita Pizza. At best they are imposters dressing up their regular pizza with some basil and olive wand cooking it in their regular oven.
Not the case with Vesuvio wood fired Pizza., owned by a native of Naples, Italy. The Margherita pizza is the real deal, good enough for Queen Margherita of Savoy. Raffaele Esposito would be honored by this version of his creation!
