Cannot believe I just discovered this sweet little Bistro! Located in the heart of downtown, you will find a great selection of wines and food for your pleasure! A great space to enjoy live music 🎶 and friendly conversations . The decor had a bit of a retro vibe, local art decorated walls making it feel cozy, warm, and welcoming! Theresa, the owner was super gracious by allowing me to try a taste of wine before I got a whole glass ! This is a must try in sarasota!

We had our staff Christmas Party in Vino Bistro’s loft and had such an enjoyable evening! The staff was helpful and speedy getting everything out to our group of 9. They were so patient as we were running a bit late with our gift exchange near closing time. The Wednesday night wine flights with their extensive wine selection were so cute and a hit with the group! Charcuterie boards were a perfect sharing size for two people. Thanks so much Vino Bistro!

This was our first time at Vino Bistro & picked it for pre-theater dinner for nearby West-coast Black Theater Troupe at 7:30pm. We loved our wines, small plates, service and atmosphere. As we were getting ready to leave we saw a band setting up and wished we had time to hear them. All 4 of us will surely return and bring friends.
Vegetarian options: We had 3 dips, guacamole, hummus and olive tapanade and the co-owner threw in a tzatziki too with vegetables. Also baked feta with heirloom tomatoes for appetizer. Non- vegetarian dishes, we had had were Polo Palmero & Spanish meat balls. Everyone was very satisfied with our choices.
Parking: Parking is only steps away from the restaurant.

This is the hidden Gem of Sarasota!!
A spot in the town where people can peel away and just kick back and enjoy personal touches! The entertainment is always thriving, the art shows are great, the staff is AMAZING, and the food is delightfully delicious!!
You definitely need to go down and explore the Vino! And share the knowledge of the town's best hidden Gem! 🥰
Vegetarian options: There are options. They try to accommodate as best as possible!
They are very fair where you're fair with them!🙂

Parking: It's Sarasota, you'll find a spot regardless. Also walking is healthy too. 😉
Kid-friendliness: Yeppers. I have brought my own kids here.
I would be mindful for kids younger with sensitive ears when they have bands playing, because the music is close, and may be too much for the young ones, so getting knowledge on the band time and dates may be beneficial towards your night out.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Easy to get into. And people and staff are all kinds of helpful and friendly to help their fellow humans!🥰

Totally enjoyed our time here.
Super friendly server Kristen.
Owners stopped by our table to make sure our experience was great.
The tapas and pizza were first rate.
Will come back for their live music nights
Vino Bistro has an alluring, intimate ambience, delicious tapas, and a diverse list of wines from all over. They also provide some talented musicians to entertain you while you eat, but they are not booming loud, so you can still talk and hear at your table. Plenty of parking on the street.

You are always made to feel like family at Vino Bistro. Dining leans towards light bites so don't come expecting a huge meal. Do expect delicious wines, cheeses, pizzas and other bites in a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Live music on weekends from a variety of talented artists. Free street parking, which is a rarity in Sarasota now.
Luckily for us, Vino Bistro is a neighborhood gem. But it's worth visiting even if you have to drive there! Grotten and Teresa are gracious hosts, the wine list is very comprehensive and the food is always delicious. There's a relaxed and friendly vibe at VB that you don't find at many places.
Great place, friendly staff. Great music. Great food and wine.

Don't get the pizza! The first time I was here, the Cesar salad and the tuna tartare were GREAT .
So a couple nights later, I ordered a pizza to go. Have to say it was the absolute worst pizza I’ve ever had.
I should have known when I picked up the box and it felt like a brick was inside. Hard to even explain… imagine those doughy pizza squares you’d get in the frozen food aisle years ago… take that, let it just thaw on the counter, sprinkle some toppings on top and just warm it up in the microwave. It was thick (albeit fluffy bread like) dough, that was barely cooked underneath. I tried scraping off the topping at least and putting it on a cracker and couldn’t even do that because that wasn’t good either.
Unfortunately, with take out, you can’t send anything back. I couldn’t eat it. I was starving and out $25 (with tip). I hate writing negative reviews, so I called them but there was no answer and they’re now closed for two days.
I’d recommend going, but strongly warn against the pizza.

I was part of a larger group who had a private party on the top floor and ordered the garlic shrimp and bruschetta. Ingredients were fresh and both dishes were delicious. The bread was toasted just right so it’s crunchy but not burnt. Our server was Lisa who was outstanding. She also gave me a few places to check out in St Pete where I was staying.Amazing food and service, wish more places were like these. Keep it up!!
