Waffle Houses will never be know for great ambiance, but they can provide a filling breakfast quickly and pleasantly. The food was very good and arrived promptly. The cheesy steak and eggs with toast and hash browns was a hit as was a Grand Slam.
The WF on Clark Rd is exceptionally superior to others in all regards. Must be good management. (Cortez is really yummy too, with a really yummy waiter—but you won't let me inside the door.) Florida has awful waffle down pat!

Never really had poor service at a Waffle House. The server I had was an awkward young kid and might have been a trainee or something. Usually things run at a good clip when you visit a Waffle House, but not the last time I visited. Grits were delicious as always and their crispy waffle is a beautiful thing at breakfast time.
