Does not exist restaurant closed empty space for rent

pood

Overpriced wings, order of 30 and a side of fries for almost $70. Used to be less than $50 and I’m glad they closed for good. Great employee service though.

I'm only writing this review because they don't do breakfast anymore. This place was THE place for breakfast for my entire family when we would visit Sarasota. The fact that they no longer are serving breakfast is so sad. Maybe instead of only being open for lunch and dinner you should be open for only breakfast and lunch! Please consider it! We had been going there for over a decade! We will not be back unless there's breakfast! Then I'll change my review

Wings are great but I could tell the fry oil was very old and it tasted burnt

Was disappointed that there is no longer breakfast ! We’d go all the time that being said last time we went the food was not that great we also had to knock at the door because the restaurant wasn’t open but it was past opening time ..our server was fantastic but I believe if you don’t open for breakfast again and get a better chef you will be closing up ! It’s a shame because this used to be a great little restaurant!

Could not be more disappointed in the experience we had today. I haven’t frequented the establishment in a bit, and I can confidently say I won’t be returning. In addition to the two different menus online, their prices differed for every single item compared to what we were charged. The up-charge on one of the items was not what was told on the phone, and being charged extra for utilizing a card? That can’t be ethical, especially if it’s not advertised or disclosed at the time of the transaction. As a healthcare worker who has personally been impacted by the pandemic, I know how challenging things have become, but transparency is critical these days. Our efforts to support our local businesses are important to us, but when every expense differed than what was disclosed, and resulted in a $130 bill for lunch for five, it doesn’t leave for a positive experience. We live on fixed incomes as well, and our one weekly splurge was a larger undertaking than we were prepared for.I’ll leave you with the photo of my 7th “chicken wing”, to conclude my experience…Ps. In spite of all of this, 20% gratuity was still provided, because being married to a service industry worker reminds you that the staff doesn’t dictate prices and they should not be directly impacted by situations beyond their control.**Adding a response to the owners reply; This is incorrect, while I know it was a busy Friday I did not call multiple times, but once, and profusely apologized for adding one meal, which came to four 7 wing entrees. As indicated above, I did upgrade to onion rings (not tots) on ONE of those meals and was still charged a full price not the up charge I was told on the phone. Furthermore, there was one app and it wasn’t shrimp, so again you must have your orders mixed. Additionally, it was mentioned twice on the phone that the prices differed on all the online menus and nothing was clarified. Lastly, once again, it was never disclosed that there was a fee for using a card, that respectfully is absurd.I have been to Publix and can currently purchase 20 wings for 14.99, but the pricing itself was never my conundrum, it was transparency. Clearly none of that matters, thank you for making that evident. (If you could make sure consumers receive seven full wings and not the poor excuse in that photo, it’d be nice)**Last response because this is appalling**I'd like to take notice that while Publix is larger and I maintained employment through a pandemic, none of those were easy feats, and through it all, I stayed humble and kind. The manner in which your establishment has chosen to address the situation and lack of effort to remedy the circumstances or even try to demonstrate professionalism is disheartening and disappointing. It's evident that your regular consumers are your priority, and you have no intention in making effort to attract new consumers. Thank you for showing that to us healthcare workers who "did stay employed", but you couldn't fathom at what lengths it took to stay employed, sane, and healthy. God speed to you and your establishment.

Colleen the “manager” that I placed an order with over the phone as I repeated my order several times with her over the phone and I get there she did not greet me as I am I loyal customer and have been going there for 20+ years. I came in and Colleen was being carless about customers around her. When I called over the phone because my order was wrong she handled things very unprofessional. The worst experience with COLLEEN the manager was the worst. The Boneless wings were very delicious but the way she handled things and knowing she was wrong and did not even apologize made me feel really upset. I had a big family in town that day visit and didn’t even have enough food for everyone.

Waitress was great food well left to be desired. Ordered a burger (13.00) in comparison to a quarter pounder from McDonald's is a midget. Mac n cheese seemed to be boxed kraft Mac and over cooked left me a little upset due to the fact it was my first time eatting here. Not returning and if the Waitress wasent good it would get 0 star's

Menu prices are not correct. Most tables have a paper saying the wings cost more but our table didn't have one. Waitress told us after the bill came and we questioned it. She showed us the paper from another table but ours didn't have one. She asked my wife what kind of fries she wanted but those weren't included and we had to pay $5 extra for them. No carrots either only a couple pieces of celery. Wings weren't that good anyway could have been cooked more so they weren't slimy

Breaks my heart to leave a one star review here. I’ve been driving for 19 years (since I was 16) and since then I’ve been a customer at Wings N Weenies. Wife and I ordered 20 wings and fries tonight as a to-go order. The wings were burnt to a crisp and more than half of them were too hard to bite down on. The fries were fried in oil that must’ve been nearing the rancid side. They were also burnt and tasted of chicken and fish? On top of that they forgot our extra ranch. 3 dollar up charge. We called and they are fine to refund us the money but the assured us it was in the bag when we left. Which means they didn’t actually check. This is just a review of my most recent experience. And this was strike 3 for our family. Our last two visits were even worse than this. Try to be supportive of a local place when the price per wing is a buck 85 but the service and quality has to reflect that price increase and Wings N Weenies just doesn’t have it anymore.Sorry to say it but “goodbye….”

A good place for Breakfast, but we ate there on Saturday morning, and were shocked at the lack of hygiene. There must be a defective AC unit above the side counter used to brew coffee. Periodically the overflow on the AC handler overflows and releases a torrent of water through the ceiling tile and splashing onto the counter top directly next to the coffee machine. I could see some of the water splashing up and into the coffee urns. The drainage lasted 3 or 4 minutes. The waitress managed to catch most of the drainage in a container, and wiped the counter down when the drainage stopped. It must be a regular occurrence. It seemed to be business as usual. It was disgusting, and it was something I might expect to see in the third world country.

I told the waitress I wouldn't leave this review if I was able to speak with the owner. When she gave me the general number to the store I changed my mind. I ordered 20 wings , asking for extra carrots and celery. She advised they were out of carrots. I arrive for pickup to find the prices have increased significantly. Almost 2$ per wing. Open the bag to find this in place of extra carrots and celery. Each bundle consists of 1 piece of wilted celery cut down into 1/3's. Last time I checked there was a publix right next door that sells carrots and celery. If your too lazy to walk 30 seconds to re-stock an essential item at a wing shop, I can only imaging what else they are too lazy to do in that kitchen.

Ordered wings today, out of 20 we received one wing rest were legs . They were all extremely over cooked. Extremely disappointing.
