I signed and paid $15,000 for a Design Services Agreement for major home renovations on Mar. 8 with Yoder Homes and Renovation, with "approximate timeline" of 6 to 10 weeks for design, specifications and structural engineering. 22 weeks later I still do not have buildable plans. Yoder's email response: they will provide the documents "as soon as they are available". Which they totally control. Results, I lost over 5 months with Yoder, construction is delayed, and am looking for another contractor. If timely performance matters to you, Yoder Homes and Remodeling is probably not your best choice.Update: Plans have now been delivered, but I'm moving forward with other contractors.Services: Home renovations

If there was a "0" rating it would be it. Why? My wife and I visited the showroom to get some ideas on remodeling our bathroom. The receptionist was very pleasant with us. Then we were introduced to a salesperson (woman) who was very dismissive and saying that they were not accepting any other customers for a year and the price would start at $45k. Without hearing our needs. REALLY ??? I GUESS OUR MONEY WASN'T GREEN ENOUGH. BUYERS BEWARE.

Yoder Homes remodeled my large master bath. Thanks to Covid & the supply chain slowdowns, it took much longer than expected. There were a few hiccups along the way, but what I LOVED about Yoder is that they never once said the words, "We can't" or "We won't" to me. Anything I wanted or needed, they found a way to do it -- even if they had never done it before!Amy, who I worked closely with on choosing the materials & my design vision, was always positive, honest and patient. I am very picky & had my own ideas--she either did them, enhanced them or came up with better ones.Tom, my contractor, who was in my house almost every day for the months it took to complete the project, became like family. He knew my animals by name and did everything he could to make the long process as easy as possible for me.And the couple times something went awry, he said, "don't worry, we'll fix it" - and they did. They worked closely with me throughout the project, always courteous, always professional, always on time and always KIND.This company truly CARES about their customers rather than seeing us as Dollar Signs. I even received a personalized note card from the owner. They are fairly priced and a pleasure to work with. Thanks to Yoder, my ugly master bath was transformed into an absolutely Stunning spa bathroom! I highly recommend them and frankly, will miss them coming to my home!Services: Water fixture installation
