This restaurant is by far my kid’s favorite place to go to for sushi while visiting Sarasota. There is an amazing variety of sushi rolls and the staff are so welcoming. The food is made with high quality ingredients and is sure to please! Unless you come early in the day, be prepared to pay for parking.

Their cook food was actually really good. But the sushi not so much. The fish and rice just don’t seem to be fresh or well put together. But maybe Sarasota is not known for that (we been spoiled elsewhere). Good service at a mom and pop type of place. Wish them well.

Four for dinner. We arrived early but were able to be seated. Sushi ordering is by laminated card with a dry erase marker. I prefer this as it easy to keep track of who wants what. They also offer some Thai dishes in addition to Japanese dishes. Server was on top of his game and I recommend trying Yume.

First time eating here. I ordered sushi and appetizer. I ordered a house Cabernet. I got the glass of wine. I thought it was terrible.I asked waitress what it was. She looked and said copper ridge. I looked it up online. It’s 11% alcohol. It’s 3 dollars a bottle. That’s ridiculous. Cabernets start at 13.5% Google it. It’s basically a cheap boxed wine put in a bottle. I did not drink it. They were close to closing so I just wanted to get out with to much drama. The owner came over to me and told me I’m the first person who ever complained. Lol It cost her less than a dollar and she was super rude. I dine out regularly in nice restaurants all the time.Usually everyone is great. Sad when you work in the hospitality industry and you are hospitable. . My waitress was fine.I would not support an owner that would ever act like that.

Great sushi and very accommodating. We arrived without a reservation on a very busy evening coming home from Lido Key and we were sat promptly and the service was great. Sushi rolls and sashimi we had were excellent and as I have seen others commenting on the presentation, I too will commend it. Give Yume Sushi a try next time you are downtown!

I was not impressed by the food experience I had here. The sushi was actually pretty good, but the chicken yaki udon was lackluster and a tiny serving. The green tea I had was good though. The server was also just kind of off and hard to get a hold of.
This place is very mid. Sushi is bad. Thai food is worse. I would give my newborn 2 minute old baby a better portion than this. My poodle puppy makes better food than this. Server has chronic dementia and does not speak english.

Amazing rolls, so good I forgot to take pictures. We had miso, voodoo roll, tunalover, and Maggie suggested the angel roll, it was out of this world!!

We walked I and attempted to sit down. The sewer Smell was too Much for us. I’m not eating in a place that smells bad. How clean can everything else be. We will never go back
