I have loved the place for many years. It was out go to restaurant in the area for various occasions. Authentic, and fabulous in almost every way, good food, good service, etc. But, tonight they let me down, sad to say. The shrimp was old and smelly, the crab cakes were cold and dry - The stuff that came to our table, was not good. Not up to their usual standards. I hope it's not a trend, but just a bad night. We'll see. I'll give it another shot.

We ordered the pumpkin bisque as suggested by the server, the bisque never showed up at our table. The server acknowledged the mishap, but stated that he could not remove item from check due! So, basically forcing us to take a bowl of bisque with us or option 2 take a dessert in lieu of Not cool at all! Other issue ordered cod fritters, this item had no cod whatsoever, it was just fritter stuffing for stuffing a turkey, which is what they probably thought we they served to us. I say pretty pathetic, the rest of the meal was fine. I wanted to make the fritter critique after we were done with meal, but in order to not embarrass the server in front of other clients due to him becoming busy , I let it go, but making my statement here.

I picked Mo-Bay for my birthday dinner, and it didn’t disappoint. Having experienced authentic Jamaican food before, I can say this was the real deal. I ordered the curry chicken while my wife had the crusted haddock—both were delicious. The service was great, the prices fair, and the atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend Mo-Bay.

A sensational delight for your taste buds and a fabulous atmosphere with great service from the lovely Johnnie. We would recommend eating here as it has a great choice on the menu which would suit everyone, plus delicious flavours that tantalise your taste buds . My husband had ribs which he has had in a few different places in Florida, these ribs were by far the best melt in your mouth and delicious. If like me you love seafood then enjoy one of the many dishes on offer, I had the blacken scallops with plantain and a delicious sauce. Johnnie recommended fresh pineapple and ginger to drink delicious as was his dessert recommendation. Thank you

We were warmly greeted by Lydia who was also our server. She went over the specials and customer favorites. We appreciated the variety of foods offered and our taste buds were popping. Looking forward to our next visit.

We went for my wife's birthday, largely because of the good reviews, and we were disappointed with the entire experience. There's nothing special about the atmosphere: standard issue old riverfront restaurant that could use some TLC. We ate early and had no trouble getting a table (yet they seated us next to another party and the group that came right after us was seated right next to us in an otherwise empty dining room). The server spoke with a Jamaican accent, which I figured might mean a few good insights or enthusiasm about the menu. She offered nothing other than apparent boredom and maybe a little irritation that we were there at all. We ordered the cod fritter appetizer, which were pancake shaped and bland, not at all fritter-like. (Though in fairness, I've never had cod fish fritters in Jamaica and this may well be what they're supposed to be like). My wife ordered a fish sandwich, which she liked well enough. My son had the jerked half chicken, which he liked well enough. I had the oxtail stew, which was tasty, but at $32, overpriced and under-portioned. A small scoop of stew, which as you would expect was mostly bones, over rice and beans and a small serving of vegetables. Then the check was presented on one of those new handheld devices -- a lot of money for a mediocre meal. The server then watched as we hit the 18% tip button, which was the lowest of the pre-set alternatives. My son swears he heard her click her tongue in disappointment at that, though I'll admit I didn't hear anything. We won't be back. If you're in Sebastian on the river, there are a dozen better places with better views, better service, better food and lower prices.

We had no reservation but sat right away despite the restaurant being crowded. Our server was excellent as were the Wizzle cocktails we ordered. I had the crab stuffed flounder, my wife the lobster florentine, and my son the jerk barbecue ribs. Everything was delicious! We’ll come back when we’re in town again.

My husband and I were in the Vero Beach area travelling home to Jekyll Island, GA. I found Mo-Bay Grill listed on the "Find Me Gluten Free" app, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch seated at a booth with a view of the water. David, our server, was very personable and knowledgeable about the GF options on the menu. He truly made our Mo-Bay Grill lunch experience special. The tropical ice tea with a hint of mango and green tea was a terrific variation on traditional ice tea. Very good. My husband ordered the pasta in coconut sauce with chicken; I ordered mahi-mahi with vegetables. Both were delicious. We highly recommend Mo-Bay Grill.

This is far from authentic Jamaican food, or what it represents. No flavor at all and crazy expensive. This food is not supposed to be over $30 a dish. I use to go years ago but seems like the owners sold this business to someone that is not an islander because the food definitely reflects how bland it is. It’s a shame, because the views of the water across the street are nice.
