“We are from Miami living in Port Saint Lucie. We havent had much luck with cuban places up here yet, til now. This place was amazing. The vibe of the place already lets you know the food is the real deal. Wife and I had the vaca frita with moros & maduros. It was absolutely perfect. My son had the ropa vieja with moros and fries. My other son had the kid’s palomilla and moros. It was a lot of food! Great coffee too. If I lived any closer, I’d eat here regularly.”

I have been purchasing from this Subway for many years, and I have always been treated with courtesy, kindness, and the upmost professionalism. Just be aware there is no seating currently available inside this establishment but you could always pick something up and head to one of the local county parks to eat...and then on your way back out of town stop by again to compliment them on the most delicious sandwich you just ate 😊”

“We were having lunch March8. The restaurant was very busy and were told up front that there would probably be about a 30 minute wait. Not a problem for us. There was a table of 5 behind us. A young lady named Taylor was their server. Those patrons were the worst! They complained from the minute they sat down. Harrassed the poor girl from beginning to end. We felt so bad for her she deserved a medal just for hanging in and continuing to put up with the abuse. People please be patient with the servers. Restaurants are short staffed ! The food was great!”

“We were looking for a place close to where we were staying, this was only 4 miles away. Very quaint, clean, our waiter was awesome (thanks Andrew/Drew)!!! The food was yummy... had lasagna and manicotti. Nice and hot, the sauce was really good, and the bread they serve was nice and warm with soft butter (my mother-in-law would've loved that, huge pet peeve for her!). So glad we just happened to find this place. I think it must be a hidden gem. We will definitely be back.”

“One of the very good things about Woody's Sebastian is the consistency. My wife and I have been going there twice a week for 15 yrs plus. Our favorites are always prepared just right. By the way we like the new presentation of the fries in a metal basket it seems to keep them crisp. Also in addition to a variety of veggies the coleslaw and baked beans are the best.”

“Rosie's Bottoms Up 8400 US Highway 1 Micco, FL 32976 4 Stars As a true bezonian, I always enter an establishment with high hopes. As I walked in, I immediately smelled that old building scent. I mean, this is a good way; it's comforting, like the smell of an old book. While I found the scent reassuring, I doubted the outcome with Rosie's. Rosie is no longer with us and her picture adorns the wall. Marlene, my server, has been here for 19 years, which I found shocking as she is happy, efficient, and works her tuchus off. This garnered Marlene a 62% tip. Well done, Marlene. Marlene has become an icon in these parts, you can even buy a t-shirt with her likeness while dining. I asked Marlene the Magnificent for one Micco Burger (medium rare) and 10 Garlic Parmesan wings. Digging the relaxing vibe of the old place (people were actually having fun in here), I eagerly awaited Marlene's return. It wasn't a long wait as she was soon sighted bringing my order out of the kitchen. Take a look at those pictures. That is a massive burger. The Micco Burger is made from 8 oz of ground beef, hand-formed, with melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. A half pound makes for one giant hamburger. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the cheese was melted all around and the bun was fresh and tasty. The side of pomme frites was likewise perfectly cooked and just as scrumptious. Moving on to the order of Garlic Parmesan wings. One bite in, I knew these were not the best wings I'd ever had, but they were pretty good. They were cooked correctly and abundantly seasoned. Are they going to win any awards? No. Are they trying to? Also, no. They are fine for what they are. The Big Boy says, “Great vibe, smells, and service. Stop on by and tell Marlene the Big Boy sent ya. Hopefully, she won't yell at you!"”

“What a treat! And a great find! Do you remember the traditional food that your European family made? Or that you ate in the Midwest or in Pennsylvania. Or ate years ago at a traditional diner? This place has tons of great options. Sauerbraten, Wiener schnitzel, Cabbage Rolls, Pierogi's, Italian food, Great steaks, homemade cakes, daily soup (tonight was cream of chicken and corn chowder - fantastic), a roll with soup and creamy butter on the table. Food brings back memories and this place has you remembering a time that is hard to get back. The cutlets and the fried chicken looked amazing going by. Very attentive staff and excellent service. A sweet smile greets you at the door and you feel like you can leave all your troubles behind and just live in a small part of heaven that is harder and harder to find anymore. Wish I lived closer! But I don't mind to make the trip again for Country Breakfast sometime on a Sunday (7-1) or German night Mondays (3-7:30) or Prime Rib Thursday or Polish night again some Saturday. I'm glad I stopped in. Such a treat!”

“This place was NOT my fave a few years ago, BUT.... Something happened. someone came in that place that cares, bc the last 4 times I have gone I have been happily satisfied. The service was good, and the ppl nice. Music is always on point, but then the food came out, and it was AWESOME for bar food. The only thing that upsets me is they took the Cuban off the menu.. It was the only thing i could eat from them some years ago, but I guess it is a good trade. That one item gone, for EVERY other thing to be 100 percent better than it was.. If you never tried the place, try it. If you haven't gone back in a while because you think it sucks, it dosnt anymore, try it again.. Thanks Hirams!!!”

“We chose Captain Hiram's for our prewedding supper. The private room was inviting with a great wait staff to treat all 38 guests like royalty. The drinks were great, the food was on point. The conch fritters & calamari hit the spot. Our group ordered menu food from burgers to Jerk Chicken and it was a thumbs up from all the eaters. The convenience and the service made the evening a pleasure for the soon bride & groom. The families enjoyed the ambiance of the river dining and Sebastian/Captain Hiram's motif. Hannah & Edgar made sure all guests had everything they needed to celebrate great food & friendship before the big wedding day. We are pleased with the effort to make us feel special.
