“Maison Martinique Restaurant- Vero Beach-3.5-Stars "Too many people eat just to consume calories. Try dining for a change." -- J. Walters Located within the luxurious Caribbean Court Boutique Resort is where one will find Maison Martinique. This almost hidden gem offers al fresco dining as well as three dining rooms within, so grabbing a table should not be a problem. However, as it is situated within the aforementioned Resort, calling ahead for a reservation wouldn't be a bad idea. As I did not, I was thankful for the ample seating and was lead to a vacant table almost immediately. Perusing the menu, I must say that I was highly impressed with the offerings and could only hope they tasted as good as they read. Suddenly, an odd idea popped into my head. Why not order all the specials off the menu today instead of flinging darts and ordering what they land on? As soon as I had this thought, my server, Aubrey appeared table side and inquired as to my readiness to order. I let it be known that I was indeed ready and asked for a Glenlivet neat*(side o'rocks) to get the ball rolling and then the specials of the day. Aubrey told me I couldn't go wrong with that choice and to that end put in an order for Curry Lamb Soup, one Goat Cheese Bake and one Bombay Sapphire Martini to wash it all down. Aubrey soon returned with my Scotch and what a Scotch it was. Just look at that picture. That had to be a 3.5 oz pour or I'm not the Big Boy (love you, Aubrey)!! I was about halfway through the Single Malt Nectar of the Gods when Aubrey set my food before me. Take a minute and glance at the rest of the pictures. As one can see, the presentation was stunning. If the food was as good as it read, looked and smelled I was in for yet another gastronomical treat in the burgeoning haute cuisine scene of Vero Beach. Let the festivities begin! I was told by a chef in Vero Beach that the bread should set the standard for the rest of the meal as it is the first sampling from the kitchen the customer experiences. This bread, as one can clearly see, was indeed baked on site. However, I have a sneaky feeling (due to taste and consistency) that is was baked from pre-made, frozen dough. While it tasted fine, it didn't hit the table running, so to speak. So far, so meh. As I could smell the curry lightly wafting up from the soup bowl, I hungrily procured my spoon and dove in. With what I assumed were red lentils(?) and USDA prime chunks of lamb, this not only jumped over the bar set by the bread but obliterated it in the process. The curry was perfectly proportioned and in no way overwhelmed the lamb. The lamb was so tender it almost melted on the palate like so much lamb flavored butter. This dish alone is 5 stars all day, every day. Moving on to the Goat Cheese Bake, I couldn't help sneak a last smell of the soup before trading in my spoon for a fork. The Goat cheese is broiled first, then baked on a fresh crostini that was crispy and chewy. The delicious red sauce added deep rich flavor to the divinely lightly crusted goat cheese. I could eat this every night. The accompanying Lobster and Scallop baked rice was soft and flavorful, though I could swear that the seafood rested too long and slightly killed the dish. The asparagus, while cooked to veggie perfection, lacked enough seasoning. The Bombay Sapphire Martini sans blue cheese stuffed olives was still delightful and just as heavy as the Glenlivet. As I mentioned at the start, this is the first time I have ever spurned the menu to order all specials. As such, I have to give credit where credit is due and all in all this kitchen crew knows what they are doing and sling forth some excellent chow. However, with the bread being the bread that it was and the seafood over rested, I stand firmly behind my 3.5 Star rating. The Big Boy says, "For a strong drink and a Goat Cheese Bake you can eat all day, call up and reserve a table at Maison Martinique." #iamthebigboy #bigboydiningout”
“What a gem! First time eating here and we are so happy we did! Everything we ordered came out quickly and was excellent! The atmosphere is casual and fun, our server, Charlotte, made a great beer recommendation. Everything about this place is perfect ? can't wait to go back and try something else. Swiss fondue is a must, duck empanadas melt in your mouth, perfect grilled cheese is perfect and the shepherds pies was amazing.
** note to the band last night, your music was awesome and we really enjoyed it, we wanted to leave a tip, but we literally had 2 dollars in cash between the 2 of us, in no way did that reflect our opinion, it was just all we had, I hope we didn't offend anyone, we will make up for it next time!!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!”

We ordered the Matador sandwich and a side of sweet fried plantains. The plantains were the best we've ever had, and the sandwich was delicious. So many other things on the menu sounded good, so we will definitely be back to try more!”

“Best Mexican restaurant in Vero Beach. Great food… Great service… and a Great Bartenders”
“Went there on 12/11. Food was great. The TV speakers on the patio were so loud that you could not hear anyone speak. Half the screens hardly had the good games out side. 1 was frozen. You can see people adjusting there hearing aids not joking. Even my friend visiting was adjusting. Even other people were complaining. I Spoke to manager. He said to complain to district since he had no control of volume ?????? It was not a good experience. So, if you want a nice eating time on the water don't go there when football games are on. For outside eating. I wanted to go because of the game, won't do that again. Unless they can control the volume.”
Outdoor Dining
“Absolutely amazing. We visited from Northern Ireland today for coffee - the owner is so friendly and polite, even the decor inside is welcoming and makes you feel like you’re at home.
Highly recommend!”

“Can’t recommend Sweet Desires enough! The pastries and drinks are both amazing, but what really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone that works here, from the baristas to the owners, is so kind and welcoming! This is such a great addition to Vero.”

“Great Vegan options! Croissant egg sandwich for my meat loving husband and Pesto Avocado Toast for me with a pine ginger smoothie. All was amazing. It's about time Vero Beach got a healthy place to eat. We need more places to eat like this!”
“You guys are awesome. Everything you touch turns to gold! Whatever you make is amazing & the level of love & care is evident. We’re so lucky to have this lil corner of foodie paradise here in Vero!”
“The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious! ?? The restaurant is a bit small and can feel crowded, but the amazing food more than makes up for it.”

“Delicious food, great staff, great prices ❤️❤️❤️”
“Always love Dario’s. Best Italian in the area! Great service every time.”
“This place is incredible! The decor was AMAZING! They have it completely decked out for Halloween right now! The ambiance lighting is so fun and colorful! We all had different things for entrees and we all left so full and unable to stop talking about our meals! Between the incredibly fresh fish and savory sauces, to the perfectly cooked steak and the ridiculously tasty stuffed mushrooms, we will be recommending this place to everyone. We can't wait to come back for our next beach getaway vacation!”

“Bella is an amazing waitress and fellow cheesaholic. Short conversation because she is busy with all her tables giving 5 star service she gave me a great big bowl of grated cheese for my tortellini. Definitely will ask for her again”

“We had a great breakfast at Wind & Waves. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better place to have breakfast while at Disney's Vero Beach Resort.”
“Hey Vero Beach! I actually worked here for a brief period and really enjoyed the cuisine! Classic Bang Bang Shrimp, Filet and Parmesean Crusted Rainbow trout were just a few of my favorites! See Sara Voss at the bar, she is the best. The GM Samantha is wonderful . An absolute special shout out to the back of the house. That was the best chef line I've ever worked with in 30 years.”
“This place was so delicious. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is extremely clean. I had the vegetarian Ramen and the veggie spring rolls. Everything came out very fast and was super hot and fresh. I highly recommend this place!”
“AMAZING Hibachi! Full orders, tons of fresh food, quick & efficient, great service, ALSO, such good sushi!! Literally 0 complaints.
Kid-friendliness: Great Kids hibachi menu!”
“My wife and I (Beth) had our Anniversary dinner at Vero Prime Restaurant in Vero Beach. The service was absolutely incredible, she greeted us right away, very pleasant and extremely attentive, we started with the lamb pops for an appetizer along with the delicious Artichoke Hearts...the timing was perfect as we needed to catch a play at Riverside Theater that night. My wife ordered the Chicken Avavzare and I had the Ribeye Steak. Both were prepared to perfection. Our server Elizabeth suggested a great pairing wine to compliment our meal. Our experience was beyond our expectation as we are true foodies. I highly recommend Vero Prime for any occasion and we look forward to returning. Our experience couldn't have been better and a special thank you to Elizabeth. Gio and Beth, Port St Lucie, FL”
“Polo Grill is our go to in Vero Beach. Outstanding steaks, incredible chops. Corey was our waiter and he was fantastic. Smoked old fashioned and lemon drop martini were spot on. We all had an excellent time and the food, service and attention to detail is unmatched. Thanks for another great evening.”
“Help couldn’t be friendlier, place couldn’t be cleaner, food couldn’t be better. I will definitely spread the word.”
“Best Chinese food ever. The food and service are truly incredible. Food is always piping hot and absolutely delicious! I only gave it four stars for "atmosphere" because there are only two tables, but the place is impeccably clean and orderly. But what they may lack in atmosphere they more than make up for in the quality of their food and their outstanding customer service,”
“We had a fantastic dinner last night! 2 of us had scallops (best they’d ever had), one had the pork chop that was delicious and the 4th had the shrimp dish. The lemon crème brûlée was amazing! We will definitely come back often?”
“Armani's Cucina 1920 14th Ave. Vero Beach, FL 32960 5 Stars In the mood for some 5-star food, I reset the parameters on my random name generator to the more food-friendly climes of Indian River County. The closer one gets to a big city in the Sunshine State, the better the food. Go figure. Paris is our service professional, and let me tell you, the stars and planets really aligned for this meal. Paris is an outstanding member of the team and one thing you don't normally see is good food with good service. Usually, the better the food, the worse the service. I'm not exactly sure of the correlation here, but I do have a few theories worthy of a dissertation or two. I put in an order for Kerry's Steak Marsala, the Pear & Gorgonzola Fiocchi and the Polpo alla griglia with a side of Asiago garlic bread. Enjoying the warmth of the place, I snapped a few pics and soon witnessed Paris returning with my order. Keeping the phone out, I quickly took some pics of the cuisine and eagerly dug in. The aromas emanating from the plates laid out before me were mesmerizing to the food inspired. Before digging in, know that I do not hide behind a screen of fustian and fluffery. For those reviews, see the now defunct Florida Today food section. What I write is what I got. I don't care if they like it, you like it, or the President likes it. Someone needs to tell it like it is. First up on my no-holds-barred palate was Kerry's Steak Marsala. I am a huge fan of anything Marsala as it is quick, flavorful and adds a splash of gourmet to any protein if done correctly. And this? This was done superbly. The chef took a medium-grade hunk of cow flesh, cooked it to a perfect medium rare, and nailed the Marsala sauce. If there was any minus to his production, it was the casting of canned mushrooms instead of fresh ones. Not my choice, but acceptable in this sauce. Forcing my fork to move on, I turned my taste buds toward the Pear & Gorgonzola Fiocchi. As the flavors exploded on my tongue like so many pop-rocks of days gone by, I had to close my eyes to truly savor this divine moment. This dish was bursting with flavor and an absolute out-of-the-park home run. This brings me to the final dish ordered today (I'm pretty sure I will be back) the Polpo alla griglia. I admit this is a more advanced dish, if only for the visual, than your average Italian fare, but it is one of my favorites. Once again, our James Beard impersonator in the back was obviously taking his job very seriously as this was exceedingly exquisite and obviously prepared with love. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the side of Asiago garlic bread. One bite and I knew the bread person was on the same page as the head chef. This was to die for. It's sad that we have to leave Brevard County to experience dining of this level, but here it is, right next to my #1 Breakfast place in Florida. It is what it is. The Big Boy says, “Come here and taste fantastic Italian food—food that does not exist in Bree-vard.””
“My husband, myself, and some friends dined at The Green Marlin for the first time last night around 7 pm. There were 6 of us. Our waitress was great. Very patient in between our laughs and catching up with each other. We had a variety of things…Oysters Rockefeller, stuffed scallops, mahi tacos, and several different mixed cocktails. All was very flavorful and delightful. Although, I never did get my side salad…I did have the cheesy grits and they were delicious. My husband, however, did leave his 200$ plus Oakley glasses on the table by accident. We called as soon as it dawned on us that we left them on the table and again the following day with no luck.”

“Let me say, every time I come here I can see this cook Mitch busting butt, most of the time by himself, is not until 12/1 that I see someone else coming to help and then he goes. As soon as he’s out most of the people waiting leave… he’s the main cook, I’ve be coming here since 2019… 5 years, loyal customer if I don’t see him in I’ll turn around and leave. The way he presents the food, the flavor.. I don’t know why if everyone uses the same ingredients they don’t taste the same… you shoes close at night… there’s no soul at nighttime the cook even wonders off… you should see what the staff doing maybe change the staff… starting with the managers…”
“The dining area is cleaner than most McDonald's I've been to. When I think of fast food, i think of the convenience of a quick order and quick delivery (i.e., not standing in line too long, quick drive thru process, etc.). Drive through staff was friendly.”
“Generous portions, good food, good selection- dessert over priced for quality but overall a nice place to grab a meal!”
“High quality fine dining in a semi speakeasy spot. In a Winn Dixie parking lot under a sign that reads diner we had the most fantastic meal! We ordered the ahi tuna app, sea bass with ferro and wild mushrooms, and the most tender pork ribeye. Everything was exceptional!”
“I normally don’t write reviews… but I went to Chill & Grill with my cousin and the food was absolutely incredible. 10/10 for everything!!! I had the duck wings, wedge salad, and the special lamb chops!! Absolutely incredible. The portions were perfect, the atmosphere, & lighting were comfortable and the service was amazing. I highly recommend you go to the Chill and Grill!!!! Compliments to the Chef Taylor & Zury!!! Can’t wait to be back.”

“OUTSTANDING SERVICE...and the FLAN UFFS to die for?. It's a small rest. -& busy at the same time. However very much staff organize. Our server..Kristen..very professional and knowledgeable.. Definitely will come back!!! She holde for that ..?.. highly recommend this restaurant..”
“We ordered carry out last night and it was the best we've tasted in Vero. Our order consisted of Sweet & Sour Chicken, General Tso's and Crab Rangoon. Also ordered side salad with ginger dressing. Both entrees had light breading, high-quality chicken breast with light (not your typical) sweet and sour sauce. General Tso's sauce was freshly made to order and delicious. They actually asked how spicey I wanted it when we ordered. Crab Rangoon was made with light wonton wrap and you could actually taste crab. It wasn't crazy sweet like most you find locally. I loved it. Service was fast (10 min), staff were crazy nice and everyone was hustling! Inside only has a handful of small tables, so definitely a take-out for our family, but they do also have a few tables outside by the road. Not my cup of tea, so we'll just do carry out, but I'm fine with that! It's my family's new go-to for sure!”
“Had excellent service from Savannah at Outback in Vero. Also steak and shryvombo was superb.”

“my food is always fresh and delicious and the presentation is always excellent the service is superb! you can taste the love! perfectly seasoned if you go once you will keep coming back! I'm an excellent cook myself but I would rather eat at zafem!!”
“Stopped in the Vero Beach location while traveling. Kudos to both Tyler and Allie for excellent customer service. Asked for pimento cheese on my breakfast sandwich and Tyler took the time to make it happen with the kitchen. He couldn't have been more accommodating. Allie conversed with us in the dining room offering refills and simply being kind. How refreshing!”
“First time here- I wish I would have remembered to take pictures before devouring our food! Our strawberry Fresca was so yummy-very refreshing but not to sweet. Also had the mini pancakes with fresh strawberries, bananas, Nutella, & condensed milk drizzle. It was so good-pancakes were fluffy- perfect amount of toppings. Also had a mango, coconut crepe with condensed milk drizzle which was so flavorful-my favorite!
Such a nice colorful shop, friendly family that owns it. We will be back! Support small & local!
Wheelchair accessibility: My husband is in a power wheelchair and had no problems getting in the door and moving inside. The shop is very large and open inside. There is a large accessible restroom as well”

Michael and Kathy are two of the nicest people you'll meet and they truly take care of their distributors and customers! If you haven't asked your local shop to carry Catelli, you're doing it wrong!”
“How about just eating their food.”

“4 out of 5 days all summer I have delivered 30 plus or minus lunches to my daughter's camp kids. Most of the meals were variety everything from chicken tenders and barbecue to mac and cheese and fruits and fries. The orders were done expeditiously and with a smile. The orders were always prompt and fresh and well received by the campers. I must say my car smelled like heaven and we'll miss this thank you very much for your professionalism and your great meals!”
“Phatz Chick N Shack- Vero Beach- 5-Stars Hidden Gem BEST CHICKEN IN FLORIDA If you have ever visited or spent any amount of time in the City of Angeles with a local, then you must have heard of the strange phenomenon of Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. At first thought, it seems like a strange combination that can't possibly go together. However, when done right, it is spectacular. I don't know if it's an L.A. thing or if Roscoe brought this from wherever he came from, regardless, I never expected to find something as good, if not better, in a run-down strip mall in Vero Beach. While the outside may have left much to be desired, the inside was clean, warm, cozy, albeit Spartanly decorated and permeated with smells of fried chicken and...maple syrup? Met by an exquisitely kind server by the name of Kaye, I was immediately sat and handed a menu. Casting my eyeballs hurriedly down to the end, I found what I thought I smelled...the vaulted Chicken and Waffle combo. Ripping my eyes away from that listing, I turned to the food listed above and placed an order for one Chicken and Shrimp combo, one unsweetened ice tea and the aforementioned Chicken and Waffle combo. Kaye placed our order with the cook, Antoine, and he jumped on it. While he was preparing our meals hand cutting and frying to order, Kaye returned with a ginormous unsweetened tea, this was certainly a value if I have ever drunk one. Before getting to the jewel on the table, I started with a side of Dirty Rice. This is made in house and is utterly unreal. The depth and complexity of flavor is something you just don't expect to find in a "Chicken Shack", but rather from a gourmet kitchen in New Awlins. The chicken wings came with their self proclaimed "World famous" sauce. While I don't know if a couple in say, New South Wales is aware of it, I know they would be talking about it if they ever had it. This sauce is the real deal. I don't know if it's Antoine's recipe or from Robert and Tessa Adams (the owners) or someone's Great Grandpappy, but it is savory, sweet and has this lingering kick I found to be extremely pleasant on the palate. The wings were indeed hand cut and breaded then fried to perfect doneness. They were juicy, tender and farm fresh. The Shrimp is of such high quality that if Antoine told me he had just taken it out of a tank, ripped the head off and peeled, deveined, dredged and fried, I wouldn't have doubted him in the least. They were big, succulent, tasty and top of the line. With that combo out of the way and with a slight lingering kick on my tongue (man, I love that sauce), I greedily began devouring the Chicken and Waffle combo in front of me. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the homemade dredge used by Antoine. It is more than salt, pepper and flour that is for sure. I am leaning towards a Col. Sanders type of secret recipe here as it is like something I have never tasted. The Chicken was absolutely delicious. The flavors from the coating literally partied on my tongue, dancing to and fro from savory to sweet, to spicy. If I concentrated long enough, I was sure it would make me dizzy trying to keep up with the complexity of flavors to be found in this breading. The Waffles. What else can I say about the food here?? Homemade batter, hand dropped, griddled to a supreme golden brown, fresh and springy on the inside with just the right amount of give on the outside these were some of the best waffles I have had and that includes several places that "specialize" in breakfast foods. One bite of glorious chicken mixed with one bite of wonderful waffles and I was in foodie Shangri-La. This is truly a hidden gem, but I don't think it will remain hidden much longer. After 8 years they have expanded to two locations and a food truck. With that in mind, you now have no excuse whatsoever not to try this place. The Big Boy says, "For ginormous drinks, scrumptious sides, hand cut and hand dredged fried goodies along with fantabulous waffles, stop in”
“I enjoy the food and service at cracker barrel the people are genuine nice people I have had over 25 years of being spoiled at the cracker barrel in Vero Beach and have been treated like royalty excellent food and service”
“So good!! We always Google search for small mom and pop restaurants on our trips. We love supporting small businesses. We had the pork sandwiches, burrito cubano and ham and cheese. Wow, they were so freaking crunchy and the meat was so tender. Onions gave the sandwiches amazing flavor and texture.”
“I love the food. It's delicious and the kicken ranch is a must try. Delivery has always been pretty quick and the people who have taken the order have been great. The reason for only 4 stars the first time I had a sandwich delivered the gentlemen was not very pleasant. No hi , bye ty, or have a great day. And it being my first time being delivered to I tipped 5$. It almost made me not want to order again. Month and a half go by and I've had several deliveries since, all were awesome except when I got the same delivery guy today as the first time I ordered. Same attitude as before. I'll continue too keep orders going in and just hope he doesn't deliver to me. Or I'll just pull the tip out. Otherwise JIMMY JOHNS ITS GREAT!!!”
“We're initially from up north PA where Ritas are every where, we have lived in Vero for a few years now and only recently started coming to this Rita's. We're so glad we found them. My family loves going here! Great location, great staff, super nice owners.. the place is super clean, has a nice variety of flavors every time we stop there. If you're looking for a summer refresher this is the place”
“I don't like the fact McDonald's is going to no drink refills i.e. no fountain in the sitting area. The employees were very willing to get anything we wanted. The employees refilled us once and were glad to do so. This McDonald's had the nicest employees I've ever encountered at a McDonald's. I also don't like the new seats. They are hard and uncomfortable. I've decreased my visits by 75% because of the reasons listed above. Senior management you get an F+ for your new rehab.”
“Ordered two yogurts and they were both great. Unfortunately I believe the staff added honey on both (from the description there shouldn’t be any honey). This meant that my partner couldn’t try neither. More for me I guess. ?”
“I took my nephew here and he said he liked the food, service was good, but not great, and there's no atmosphere here. We were the only customers in the store. Also, my card didn't work for some reason, so I said I'll be right back in with money. The girl at the counter kinda rolled her eyes and gave me a bad vibe after that. Sorry to say, I won't be going back, no customers, no customer service, and the 2 employees looked like we were bothering them.”
“Honestly, one of the better Dunkin’s in Vero!
The staff is often friendly. My drinks are made correctly every time. This is the one closest to my house so I’m here at least once a week. There are definitely times where the drive through is very long and I see people leave. The wait is typically because of food items and not the workers fault since I rarely ever see people just standing around.
Hear me out, no weird smell & doesn’t smell dirty too, which is a huge plus. The place feels clean and updated. It’s a small Dunkin with limited seating & parking, but overall a fine establishment.
Parking: The parking is definitely a little tight. With a couple spots in the front which you have to be careful of since the drive through comes out of. And some on the side. Not too bad for a small store.”
“Greeted with a smile as we walked in and treated amazing the whole time! The food was delicious, atmosphere was unique and fun! Our server Skyler was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this restaurant! We will definitely go back.”
“Izziban is an excellent Japanese sushi restaurant that delivers both on quality and experience in a modern setting and that still retains a touch of Japanese heritage. The food is delicious; I particularly enjoyed the Godzilla roll, the Strawberry Mango roll, and the potsticker appetizer. Each dish was flavorful and expertly prepared.
I enjoyed a lychee martini, which was delightful and well-balanced, not overly strong tasting. I also tried a tequila Midori sour, which was equally delicious and perfectly mixed. The water was served in a glass cup, adding a touch of class to the meal.
Our waiter was exceptionally attentive, unobtrusive, and personable. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing and the booth we sat in was long spacious and comfortable.
The total bill for two people, including drinks, came to $91, which felt reasonable for the quality and service we received. Overall, I would absolutely choose Izziban again. It's a fantastic local vero beach only spot that I highly recommend.
Vegetarian options: Sushi restaurant, tons of clearly marked items with a green V
Dietary restrictions: Tons of milk free options.
Parking: Infinite parking spots
Wheelchair accessibility: Standard ramp up”
“Hey Vero Beach!

“It was my first time visiting Slice of Paris and I was greeted by Mrs. Michelle who could not have been nicer!
The food is great and so is the atmosphere.
She even gave me a free Sample on my way out.
100% recommend anyone to try this place !”
“We threw a rehearsal dinner at Garage Pizza on October 15, 2021. It was wonderful. Jessica and the whole staff made it a great night. We had a buffet for about 50. The food was delicious, hot and refilled as needed. We had several beers and wines. We picked all the items and it was perfect. Casual with a nice vibe five stars from us!”
“Love this place! The gelato is always 10/10!
Kid-friendliness: Our favorite ice cream place in Vero! My kids love it here! They are always so friendly.”
“Steak tacos were awesome cans made to order!!!! We’ll be back!!!!”
“I can’t recommend this place enough. They’re so nice they will remember you. They care about you and how you like your food prepared. It’s a family owned business and it shows. They are great. The food is amazing. My mom has a lot of appointments in the building we come here once a week at least and it’s a highlight.
Kid-friendliness: They love my son.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very spacious for wheelchairs”
“Probably the best chai tea of my life! The staff are super kind and go above and beyond to make you feel at home and taken care of. Being able to take our drinks and cinnamon roll over to play on the playground makes the whole experience absolutely amazing and our favorite stop in town!”
“he Italian Kitchen- Vero Beach- 4 Stars Persistently pursuing my goal of reviewing every grease-pit to fine dining place and everything in between to be found within the confines of my beloved Space Coast, I was putzing around Vero Beach when low and behold it was magically lunchtime. Punching in the secret code and GPS coordinates into my random slop house generator while at a red light, I let the machine decide what and where I was scarfing down for lunch. Just as the light changed it dinged and my navigator informed me that we were going to a place called, Italian Kitchen just off U.S. Hwy. 1 near 21st Street. Pointing the Big Boy Dining Out horseless carriage in that direction, I began to get myself psyched for the upcoming job. With an old-time Italian rustic motif, the inside atmosphere was of the old country warmth. Our waitron introduced herself as Heidi, who was extremely good and I was hoping this meant the food was as well, went over the specials and excused herself to give me time to look at the menu. After some scrutiny over the aforementioned menu, I placed an order for their Veal Picatta along with an order of the self-promoted "Homestyle" Lasagna. Each entree came with a choice of soup or side salad (we did one of each) and an order of garlic knots. Having a few minutes to kill gave me ample time to more closely inspect the fine abode we occupied at current. I found Italian Kitchen to be clean and tidy with the perfect lighting array for casual dining. Placed in front of a beautiful mixology station, the seating area is arranged in such a way as to allow the maxim number of patrons without crowding the tables, leaving room for private conversation. In due time, Heidi returned with our meal and I immediately got to work on your behalf. The Veal Piccata, simply put, was delicious. While it was not made with a prime cut of veal, it was obviously above average and the Piccata sauce spooned lovingly over it was a perfect example of how this staple of Italian cookery is supposed to taste. It was made to order, lemony and savory while not being overbearing and burying the flavor of the delicate hand breaded scallopini of deliciousness underneath. The capers enfolded within this masterpiece of Piccataness sank graciously into the flavor of the tender veal and did not hi-jack the sauce away from its delicate blend of tart and tangy goodness. The House Salad is a completely different subject and I would be hard pressed to claim it came from the same kitchen if I didn't witness Heidi being it our herself. This was a cheap conglomeration of Iceberg lettuce, premade croutons, canned black olives. the world's loneliest slice of tomato you ever saw and a small cup of industrial fake blue cheese dressing. Needless to say, the salad tasted as it just read and left my taste buds screaming for redemption. Turning my stainless steel eating apparatus toward the "Homestyle" Lasagna, I could only hope that this entree mirrored its menu mate in enticing deliciousness and not fall flat ala the salad from Cheap land. Having been made to order, the Lasagna, like the Veal Piccata was extremely appealing and served at the perfect temperature (obviously they don't use heat lamps). The sauce was flavorful with just the right blend of Italian herbs and garlic with a hint of oregano staying behind on the palate for a brief respite before joining the rest of the family in a scrumptious aftertaste. The meat was fresh and well-seasoned adding an immaculate balance to the texture and overall composition of the lasagna. For low-end ingredients, the lasagna was flavorful and put together well. As much as I enjoyed both entrees, I disliked each side correspondingly. The Vegetable Beef Soup was a greasy medley of canned crapola and caused the meal to come to a screeching halt and shift lanes from the Boulevard of Bombass entrees into the doldrums of Cheapsterville sides. I would be remiss if I failed to mention their version of the ever-present Italian Garlic Knots found in every Italian cafe, deli and sit ”
“Wife and I stopped by for a late lunch. The Mahi tacos were some of the best I have eaten. Friendly staff and owner.”

“Best restaurant in Vero Beach. The service is beyond amazing and everyone there works great as a team and are super friendly. There ingredients are fresh and everything is cooked to order . They also have nightly specials at a reasonable price. As soon as I stepped foot in this restaurant I was seated immediately and greeted with a smile from everyone front of house . Tasty wine and food . If you get there early they offer a sunset menu and great prices on house wines. 10/10 Recommend and BRING YOUR FRIENDS!!!”

“Food was great. Service was decent... wouldn't stop me from coming back. The restaurant itself is an open concept. Gets loud when full. Cool outside back patio on the water to offer a different experience.

“We stopped in for oyster night they were very busy . Sat at a table behind the bar. Kitchen was very slow we waited for over a hour for just an appetizer but our server mendy was amazing and very attentive. She was running food seating people and taking care of everyone’s needs the best she could! We will give them another try and we will ask for mendy. She is a local and gave us plenty of ideas of local things to do. We figure if they are busy that’s a good sign!!”

“Dinner is alway an 8 , never a 7or a nine Servers some of the best in town Menu for the new year, some updating of the entrees Some other fish choices, perhaps salmon or snapper, etc Maybe a tenderloin of beef or pork with an appropriate sauce Salads are perfect, apps could use some fresh calamari, fried or baked clams casino or with mornay sauce( deconstructed clams a big no no) Tiramisu great, but fake whipped cream? Shrimp and crab with red pepper sauce, sauce too thick and heavy, crab was not lump crab meat ( was advised by staff that it was) And a rock candy stick would be perfect with your great Capp, instead of those chemical sweeteners That you serve We r regular diners, but thing 2023, is a time for reflection PS don’t lose the mussel app”

“Lovely atmosphere, right on the ocean. I ordered the special which was grilled salmon on a salad. They left the skin on the salmon so it tasted a little fishy and there wasn't much to the salad. Sorry, I wish I could give a 5 star review.”

“Really good food. Not as spicy as I like but the scallops were perfect. I got the beef dish and it was large enough for 3 people buty favorite was the vanilla flan. Creamy and not too sweet. Also try the super strong Cuban coffee.”

“This place is amazing. Everything was on point from the food, the service and the hospitality. We were a large group and had a great experience. It is a must italian stop and don’t forget a pizza to go.”
“The staff was exceptionally polite and enjoyable to talk to. The atmosphere was pleasant. As for the food, it was ok, not as good as I had expected it would be. As for the price, a little higher than what I felt it should be for the food itself, but customary for the terrific service. The proprietor may consider improving their cuisine.”
“We’ve been going here a few times a year for over 25 years. The specials recently are really a great deal!. Went Thursday afternoon and the salad bar was fresh and crisp! We got the smash burger deal with it and skipped dinner. Very good & friendly service (as nearly always)I think it’s probably the best deal in town! On The downside .. It’s looking pretty dated. Also has no draft beer anymore. Bad sign!. We’re hoping they survive amongst all the other competition in the area. We also go to a couple other locations in Florida and have been very satisfied there as well. The specials currently are a really good value for well cooked food!”
